[SMH] Shroom Starship

Hi! GbreezeSunset and I combined our forces to make a good level, and here's the result! Shroom Starship sells the cheapest shrooms and stars free shipping

And for those who don't want to play, you can look instead:

We had a blast making this. Hope you guys like it! Don't hesitate to tell us what you think
This one was pretty fun! I had a blast playing through it, the last section in particular is super memorable and really well designed. I feel the aesthetics get a bit distracting at times in the first section (maybe due to the flashing pipe things?), but otherwise the level looks great. The wacky sprite reskins on the alien and ship parts are brilliant.
lol @ geneva galaxay

This looks fucking amazing btw (the giant metallic Mario in particular). I'll be sure to play this later.
It was tons of fun making this. Hope you guys enjoy it!
Best level so far, I think. The first section was weaker than the rest, but that's not saying much considering how strong the latter half of the level were. I really loved the alien enemies, and that giant mech Mario was genius. See you in the best world!

Also were you able to fix this issue in time? Haven´t downloaded the level again after my 1st playthrough cause i´m not @ home.

Thanks guys!!

Oh yeah, we were able to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out!
Pretty sweet level! Some of the setups in the first half were a little janky, but the creativity was was #smw{:TUP:} #smw{:TUP:}
Also that ending, the way you made the fireballs shoot straight like that was a nice touch. I was curious how it worked until I played ft's level :p

The moon was easier than any of the other yoshi coin sublevels, which i thought was interesting.

Beyond that, i don't even know what I can say about this. I've never seen anything like this, and I dont think I will for a long time.
The first section was really slow (and almost boring) because of waiting for the spinies to be thrown/having to wait for the next one if you messed up, but once it got going it got good.

#smw{:TUP:}

e: i was worried it wouldn't have a climactic ending. Glad you proved me wrong
ask me if i give a f*ck...

Thanks! The beginning half was definitely a bit janky haha, but we were hoping it would be creative enough. The idea for the straight fireballs actually came from a glitch where, if you phase through the ground in Vanilla Dome 2, fireballs will shoot straight, since the dirt is tile 1f0 or something.

Thanks! Yeah, we didn't want to make the moon super hard to get, and more of a smw quirk you have to figure out (or already know about). Yes, the ending is amazing :D (thanks to Eminus).
Finally got around to playing this. (Didn't really bother with the secrets though.)

As I alluded to in my earlier post, the aesthetics are some of the most unique I've ever seen. Lots of interesting sprite replacements.

Really cool uses of the enemy-only water. The obstacle involving popping the Galoomba's bubble and then jumping on it was a favorite of mine.

I had a difficult time trying to kill the wiggler with the Bob-omb explosion since it would always hit the wall and have its explosion timer reset. Once I figured out that I could throw it up a bit instead of just dropping it down and not have it hit the wall I was fine.

The horizontal shooter part was awesome—I just wish Mario moved faster. (I understand you can't do anything about this without asm.)

I found the ending was hilarious and cleverly made.

So yeah, outstanding level overall. I could easily see this level earning you two a trophy.
