Nostalgia Topic: The first videogame you finished at 100%

Um... I was feeling a little nostalgic watching a video about old videogames, and I asked myself: wich was the first game I completed 100%? Then I remembered: Super Mario Bros for the NES.
How about you=

First 100 percent? That would be Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.
I got every badge, did every side quest, every Trouble, everything. Even the Pit of 100 trials. I cannot tell you how many times I got to Bonetail, only to die and ragequit.
Tossed this over to the Gaming forum.

The first game I 100%'ed was probably DKC2. I remember being so obsessed with that game that I went out of my way to find every single DK and Bonus Coin. I had beaten a couple of others prior to that, but they weren't really games that you could "100%" (Sonic 2, SMB). Either you beat them or you don't.

What I mean with SMB at 100% is that I finished all levels, taking no warps.

Did you? :P

To be fair, I don't remember. I think it was SMW, even though I don't remember reaching 96 exits in my SNES; I guess I did later when I had the game on my computer instead. I remember I had to look up some secrets I didn't know about, i.e. Soda Lake (yeah, I recall I had never gotten the point of that star in the middle of the ocean until then).

After SMW, I beat SMRPG, then the DKC series... Actually, I haven't finished that many games yet.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Why is this still in Talk?

I've never been good at 100%ing games, my attention span isn't that long. the first game I can remember completing 100% is NSMB Wii with my brother. He used 20 continues...

I'm pretty sure it was SMW. I already did it a couple of times, but this was my first game that I completed 100%, with secrets unlocked and all. Can't remember of more games that I finished, though.
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
The first game I can really remember 100%ing was Metroid Prime (the Trilogy version). Now, this isn't that nostalgic for me, since I probably 100% only a year ago. I might have 100 percent'd a game before that, but I can't remember.

Woah woah woah... i don't know what was going on with my memory but the ACTUAL game first 100%ed was New Super Mario Bros. like so many years ago. But then I lost the cartridge so I don't have a 100%ed NSMB on all three files anymore

Super Mario World in the age of 5 or 6... :D
I don't have completed many games on 100%, I don't like that. However, I completed SMB, SMB3 (Completed every level in both games), Super Mario Galaxy 1, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Starfox Adventures at 100%. There are not more games I finished at 100%, I think :P
EDIT: I forgot Yoshi's Story and Super Mario Land :)

Super Mario Bros 3 (The GBA version) at age 12. After that, New Super Mario Bros DS at age 14. Then Super Mario Galaxy. All 3 were with the help of a guide. The first game I 100% without any help from a guide was SMW (when I resumed playing it after hearing about roms and emulators). Then Super Mario Galaxy 2 when I was 17. Then Donkey Kong Country 2 (after obtaining the SNES version on a rom).
don't click this link...
pretty sure i first 100%'ed super mario 64, but i dont remember being at the top of the castle.

next game i personally 100%'ed (and not my brother) was super mario
advance 2

Hmm... I think my first game I ever beat 100% was Crash Bandicoot Warped. (105%)

I also beat the SNES Pitfall 100%.

Either Super Mario World, or Donkey Kong Country 2, one of the first games that I have because of my Japanese SNES.

Both games took us quite a while, especially Donkey Kong Country 2, since I was young back then and I'm not such a very good gamer that time (I recall myself for being unable to go past Krockhead Klamber because of my slow reactions).
SM64 in around 2002 and then Goldeneye a little after. I completed a lot of games before that but wasn't really interested in getting all the items, doing all the sidequests etc.

I thought I 100%'d SMW but Soda Lake. #ab{o_O} Didn't know about that until 2008.
I want to say is was some N64 game, but actually I think it was Chip's Challenge on DOS or whatever it was.
Probably Paper Mario or Majoras Mask, I spent AEONS with both of those games, probably the better portion of my childhood and made these two little folders for both where I wrote down every single detail in the game (eg star thingies in PM, all enemy data including tips for easy wins, maps of every single room, easter eggs (rotating hill thing near the koopa castle!)), because back then I didn't know "internet" existed and people already collected all that data before me.

Still funny to look back through those folders again, if only to laugh at my own handwriting (I can't read shit).

We all had crappy handwriting when we were younger #smw{:D}

And I revisited Metroid Prime during the shutdown and finally 100%ed my old file. That's a grand total of 2 games I've 100%ed.
