Step it up!

My dear colleagues...things are not looking too well for us so far. It unfortunately appears that the Systemites are grossly outperforming us at C3. Not only do they seem to have more overall threads than we do, but at present many of the more impressive/notable projects being presented, have been produced by System-loyal members. Is this how it is going to end? Have we nothing more to offer? As it is, my deepest regrets lie in my lack of a completed demo of Saph and the Great Rebellion. There is a possibility I might be able to throw together a small level-sampler to show off some levels that were not in the previously-released version, but I am so busy this week/weekend that that does not seem like a likely course of events.

So yes, due to my own lack of a project, I am not exactly one to talk, but...nevertheless I must personally implore you, all of you, that you do your best to submit something! We cannot lose, or if that does turn out to be our fate in the end, we still mustn't go down without a fight!
Well I have two projects planned for C3. One of them is the collab - which I have already released.
The second one... Well, you will have to wait until Saturday. :P

Anyways, I do believe we have some good stuff from our end, but mainly, the hacks related stuff is from System's side, which is a shame. To be honest, I couldn't care less who "wins" in terms of threads made.

I seem to be in the same boat (and I'd love to play another demo of that hack :>) as I have a hack I was trying to get somewhat more finished to at least the point I have screen shots but I got stuck one patches, AGAIN. Seems to be my bane for some odd reason.

I have another project that goes along with it, however. Basically the hack was called Alternate Central and the plot is that after being close to Kuribo, a man named Mandark comes from the future to stop SMW Hacking forever stating that Lunar Magic causes the end of the world.

Somewhat based on a few things but overall, in the hack he decides to turn SMW Central into a SMWC hack. It appears only two have made it from the transformation; you can play as either Kieran or SNN.

A noted difference is that the characters start in different locations in level 1. You play in worlds such as Talk, WOI, and then finally, TSA. There's legends that say other secrets may exist.

I have some more content but really, I am not sure if that's anything to show (or enough) other than the board I've been programming. I'd like to bring back Alternate Central but this time with a plot and a hack!

I have a few patches and things to show off for non-SMW games. One of these things has to do with the Donkey Kong Country series. There are three patches--one for each game. These are almost ready to be released--the only thing that remains is finishing the ReadMe files. I don't know how well received these will be, as they aren't really something with lots of replay value.

Another one has to do with Yoshi's Island. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near its completion. Also, tehaxor69 of System's army coincidentally had the same idea as me apparently read my mind with futuristic technology and stole my idea. He must be a robot or something...

I could also release something for a certain Super FX game that no one seems to care about (hint: it isn't Star Fox, and I already mentioned YI).

I haven't made any progress on NBA Jam Old-School Edition since last year, when I didn't finish the demo in time for C3.

Heh, just wait 'till tomorrow, then we'll talk. {B)
I have nothing, my demo is far from complete, im sorry
It seems that I'll have to do the other project too...
Anyway the main one is almost finished, I think I'll be able to post the first half today. I have some accurate ports to release!

Nice avatar, Lui37. Looks nice.

Anyways, I think tomorrow may be the time I attempt to scrap up something together.

I hate to say that I really didn't expect to submit something for C3 - I haven't been hacking much lately, just a simple cave level I made because I wanted to.

I mean, I could submit something non-SMW related (maybe Minecraft stuff), but I'd hate to do so solely to assist Chester and not to benefit C3 at all.

I don't know, what do you guys think?

We're all just saving our projects until the very end so we leave a strong final impression, right?

...right?

If you think it's something that you want to show off, then just show it off! I mean, the more SMW-related the better, but this is for the community to show off the cool stuff we've been doing, so go for it.

EDIT: Though according to engagement rule 3 it might not be accepted as a point towards the team. Still, though, non-hacking stuff has never been disallowed.
I should get a new layout.

Probably won't, though.
Oh trust me, I am on the verge of posting a C3 thingy.

System will never win!

One of your fantastic ASM packs would definatly be an advantage.
