Description: This hack came out a while ago now through organic sharing, but it felt like time to give it a proper release & archiving.

There's a *lot* to unpack in this huge, rambling, brutal epic of a kaizo hack. Love it or hate it, it certainly is exactly what it is.

Good luck saving the "World" :) if you have a favourite level put it in the comments plz

Incredibly fun and creative hack. Some very long and difficult sections, but I think knowing that those existed going in helped me out - nothing ever felt overly frustrating and I found myself greatly enjoying even the levels that are a bit more 'notorious'. It's also very personal and funny in a way that very few hacks are, and really shows the potential for romhacks as an outlet for personal expression. It's impressive to me how fresh and unique this hack still feels multiple years after its initial release.

While I agree with some of the standout levels mentioned in other comments, I also want to say that I really enjoyed Mega Mole Fucks (yeah he does) and the RNG portion of Daddy's Castle, which was a very cool twist on the classic RNG castle and also had a lot of fun sections using a mechanic that I think is a bit overdone.

this hack directly inspired me to bake my values into the text(and title) of my own. i hope it can embolden others in a similar way. art is personal. propaganda hacks best hacks.

This is the hack that made me start playing kaizo, and I finally felt good enough to play it as my 20th hack. It was an awesome experience and lived up to my hype for it. Celeste (2018) was my favorite level, but honorable mention to Late Night Terror Club. Thanks for making this gem.

I learned SMW to play this hack and it was worth it! I love it so much. It was filled with so many special moments and I didn't want it to end. My favorite level was Celeste (2018)

What an amazing adventure. I really didn't want this to end, I wanted more levels! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful hack and sharing it with the community. For players, don't be afraid about the difficulty or the exit count, you will definitely enjoy this hack regardless. My favorite level was Me, Reaping :)

Finally, a legendary hack that has finally set upon the docking grounds of SMW Central! And I've heard tales of it!

Wonderful hack. What I liked in this hack (most of it), I adored. The sheer variety of levels and concepts is an accomplishment onto itself, not to mention some of the all-time banger levels. Celeste (2018) and Float Like a Princess are masterpieces worthy of Vincent van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci.

Fun moment from my playthrough:
After beating Birdo, without knowing, I shouted at my screen "EAT SHIT, BIRDO!", then I hit the message box, and to my great delight, it said "eat shit, bitch." Too perfect #smrpg{haha}

Possibly my favorite hack ever. Brimming with personality and self-expression in a way you don't see in other hacks. I can't recommend it enough.

Seeing playthroughs of Sonic Saves the World after finishing Celeste is what got me into kaizo, and after spending a few months building up kaizo competency I was extremely excited to start working through this. It's undeniable that it's a fantastic hack - funny, touching, and has some truly inspired level designs. On the flip side, playing it was often frustrating and the difficulty was very uneven in ways that would have probably made me shelve it if I didn't know ahead of time what I was getting into (that said, I'm definitely not checked out on Kaizo: Expert, so take that with a grain of salt). I don't think I'm about to play another sprawling kaizo epic any time soon, but I'm very glad I played this one.

Also, the "credits" level is probably my favorite SMW experience ever and that song is a banger and a half.
