Submission Details

Name: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - 3D Stone
Author: MarioFanGamer
Added:
Type: Ripped
Purpose: Layer 3
Slots Used: LG4
Palette Row(s) Used: 0, 1
Description: A layer 3 conversion of the 3D Stone tileset's background from Yoshi's Island with only minor colour reductions.

Do note that it expects a black or at the very least a very dark backdrop due to the way how the black colour is handled.

These are graphics (and not even foreground graphics, for that matter) and not custom blocks, you use Lunar Magic to insert them, not GPS.

very clean conversion, good job

After a complain from  Ayami, I made some changes to the submission to allow status bar support (moved the palette to the first half of the background, moved tilemap target to below status bar).

Ohhh, okay. I thought the lava was part of the BG.

That looks nearly flawless! Nice job! Only issue I notice is the top of the lava. It isn’t like that in the original BG and I’m sure you must be able to afford one more color for that, right?
