Tested within: Windows 11.

Accepted in the grounds of working and distributed accordingly. Not one file different from what is hosted in FuSoYa's site.

Was this update even authorized by FuSoYa? Afaik the tool isn't even open source so I don't think this is allowed.

All FuSoYa tools share the same conditions to be distributed (Legal Notice part in the corresponding readme) so it's the same as Lunar Magic, as long as the zip contents aren't modified in any way, anyone is allowed to submit updates.

I think you are confusing distribution with modification.
FuSoYa tools are allowed to be shipped with other tools as long as they are in their original zip (e.g. you can ship LM along with your tool as long as you distribute it in its original zip release form), but you can't just take LM, change its code, and re-release it as you see fit, same goes with this.
Modifying closed source software, which even says this

Oh I didn't realize this was a FuSoYA update that got submitted by someone else. I thought the submitter updated it themselves, because this tool didn't receive an update for ages. My bad lol

Got it, say no more

Apparently, yes, but the only known game to use it is Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World.

In my opinion this is better than the defaul Lunar Magic expand.
Already edited ROM? Don't want to put SA-1 because of compatibility issues? Use this!
