Description: Returning to the present, Mario discovers he has appeared somewhere else in the Mushroom
Kingdom. He is not familiar with this location nor did he know a big mountain existed. He
must now find the time machine which will lead him to that fiend who destroys the entire
Mushroom World. Mario gets information from time to time by some of Princess Peach's
minion Toad's. Where is Princess Peach? Why isn't she helping Mario at all? Perhaps she's
too busy doing something else instead of preventing the apocalypse......

usually i trust into wakanas reviews but this time it was a total let down. i finished world 1 2 and 3 now and im just bored out of my mind. ignoring the castle leveld, world 1 and 2 were just FLAT. remove all the enemys and you could win this blindfolded by holding right.
speaking of which. every screen has up to 6 enemys on it. its just a flat spam of enemys.

world 3 finally wasnt totally flat. but still really boring. i was so hyped when i had to make my first jump to be able to continue the level. but thats about all there was to it. jump up a couple of times and hold right.

graphics were beautiful the castles were actually kinda nice and interesting.
at best i can give this hack a 2/5. no idea why it is rated so well.

maybe after world 3 the hack gets good but i cant take it anymore. its sooo boring.

also discovered a couple softlocks/ways to kill yourself which arent intended.
example: the first cutszene where mario moves to the right automatically and drops into a hole... if you jump you will skip the hole and get crushed in the wall.

Sometimes the level design is too flat and a bit repetetive.

But what wakana said, this hack is good, very good.

And... its legacy, soo. just can give u 5 stars.

But for the future: Is it that hard to make hacks, that are possible WITHOUT savestates?

Cypher, i remember you ... MGU 2, good hack, but waaaaaaaaaaay toooo hard...

This is pretty impressive!

The design is very well done here, I love how the author came up with many and many ideas for his levels. This is probably one of the most entertaining legacy hacks I have ever played. It's not perfect though, there are still many flaws, such as impossible and frustrating parts as well as little silly errors like blind jumps. Sometimes you need to spam savestates if you're not an MLG player, and this is one of the big minus this hack has. Even so, it is memorable, for the variety of its themes. It really did a nice job.

Aesthetics are okay. Despite using different styles, it's still okay. Some of the palettes do feel too weird, but hopefully it's not something too awful. The status bar has also messed up colors in many levels. Again, not too bad, but could've been better.

Some issues here:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Major slowdown in many levels.
- Sprite tile limits issues in a few levels.
- "Grassy Hill 2" apparently doesn't trigger any secret exit.
- At "GREEN SWITCH PALACE" you die smashed in the wall at the end if you don't move.

Overall, it's a good memorable hack. Giving 4 stars, since it's not perfection, but it's really close to it. Also yes, cyphermur9t, I want a third of this, so move your butt and start it already!

Also 100th hack moderated ayyy lmao
