Also there are optional secret levels: cape, water, motor skills, and more. These levels don't unlock more levels, and they aren't necessary to see the credits. Also, there are many fast strats built into the levels to reward continued play. |

We chose the beginner kaizo category, because there's a sense in the community that this is a beginner tier hack. It's definitely harder than Quickie World, though, and it's by no means a perfect first kaizo hack.
A lot of people misunderstand the first level, so I'll explain it here. The point of the level is to convey to kaizo players that the standard levels are standard levels. People were playing them as kaizo levels and not fully enjoying them. In Cleft of Creation, playing like everything is "required" is impossible, and I think it accomplished its objective.
I specially liked the 2 first paths, I felt they were original, varied and the difficulty was on point. From the kaizo path I would highlight the water level, I usually hate them and this one was super cool. I think the 1st level isn't a good presentation for the hack, it's below the mean quality and confusing at first.
On the downside some bull s$%& obstacles in the last 2 castles and the kaizo path wasn't too interesting to me, but overall awesome hack!
Also, you updated the game just so the file size would have 666 and 69 in it didn't you?
The only difference is that you can't wait out the cycles in certain spots anymore. The waits were confusing people, the spawns were breaking, and also people were abusing it by waiting out 2 or 3 cycles in the first half of the room.
Yeah it's good you mentioned that because people should know if they care to read the comments
