SMW3: A Whole New World, a 44-exit hack by Easy Difficulty.
To some surprise, I have completed this hack with all of the exits found in all five worlds. To summarize things in a review, I would not recommend playing this hack for multiple reasons. There are times where I encounter strange mishaps in the hack, but as a traditional chocolate level, the Yoshi's Island music wasn't as bad as I thought. Before I review the hack, I would want to share screenshots off of my SNES9x emulator to clarify some major flaws in the hack.
From Photo 1, there is a spelling mistake in the text box, as Bonus was spelled as "Bunus".
From Photo 2, I encountered an extremely weird tile bug right next to the goal point. You might want to investigate this bug further.
Photo 3, terrible text box description as it shows a castle background in it.
Photo 4, I notice there is a major layering cutoff with the power-up block and the scenery tiles.
Photo 5, so if I have FOUR red coins and I see two more red coins in front of me, that makes six red coins, equaling two one-ups. You might want to remove the extra red coin.
Photo 6, questionable with the climbing vine palette.
Photo 7, another pointless tip in the textbox. Also, weird graphics do not belong in the text box description.
Photo 8, after taking out a stationary hammer bro, it will show a glitch where I've defeated TWO hammer bros. Awkward, I guess.
As for the boss battles, I found some challenging, but extremely simplistic to win. On top of that, the boss battles felt uninspiring to the point where this standard hack is not even close to the desired difficulty.
Overall, I would have to say that the hack itself contained a lot of glitches, yet I had some sort of fun finding all 44 exits. Thinking of it, it's not the worst hack I've ever played in my life, but now it's up to finding out how exactly to fix the persisting problems. Once again, I don't really recommend playing this hack in spite of some flaws.
2 stars out of 5
Many levels were designed at the height in which the vanilla camera goes moves up or down, making the camera very swing-y feeling and didn't do wonders for visual accessibility (especially with certain backgrounds that you chose). It bothered me and some folks that were watching my stream of the moderation. Please look into making your hacks more visually accessible in the future, as I suggested on your first hack.
Bugs/Issues:
This hack has 46 exits (without Bowser level)
World 5 has no dragon coins.
Bowser battle is insane like the previous hack of this creator.
1-7 = This level has only four dragon coins.
2-5 = This level has only four dragon coins.
2-6 = This level has only four dragon coins.
3-1 = This level has only one dragon coins.
3-2 = This level has only three dragon coins. Yoshi becomes invisible sometimes.
3-7 = This level has only four dragon coins.
4-1 = This level has only zero dragon coins.
4-2 = This level has only one dragon coins.
4-3 = This level has only two dragon coins.
PS: hack beated.
