Description: This is a giant version of the Wooden Spike (sprites AC and AD). It can go from 32x32 (a single spike piece) to 32x128 (spike + 3 body sections). You can set it to be upwards facing or downwards facing with the extra bit. You can also customize its upwards and downwards speeds individually, the timers for each phase, and the initial phase it spawns in. See the .asm file for details and usage notes.

No More Sprite Tile Limits or MaxTile is recommended.

Completely broken--ignores the extra byte settings and just continues moving downwards and never retracts.

Cool!

These would make suitable 'replacements' for the spiked pillars that you would see in Wendy's Castle, Valley Fortress, and of course the fifth room of Bowser's Castle in the original SMW game.

Tested with: Lunar Magic 3.21, ZMZ 1.08, SA-1 1.32 and PIXI 1.32.

Accepted with flying colors. It is nice to be quite customizable as well.

It was an idea I had, but that would require double the GFX space since tiles can't be rotated, and I didn't want this to be too intrusive in the SP3 space. It may also be a bit more difficult for long spikes due to the sprite being deleted when too far offscreen horizontally.
