SMW Sprites → Sunshine Blooper v1.0

Submission Details

Name: Sunshine Blooper v1.0
Authors: Eminus, Von Fahrenheit
Added:
Tool: PIXI
Type: Standard
Dynamic: No
Disassembly: No
Includes GFX: Yes
Description: This is a Blooper based on its Super Mario Sunshine appearance. It will move around and spit ink at the player. It can be placed in ceilings as well. Setting the extra bit will prevent the sprite from moving. It's quite customizable and features easy GFX remapping.

Great job. I have a question, how to remove the falling aspect of the ink as it shrinks? So it doesn't fall, only shrinks away. I can't figure it out!

Oh, i forgot about this game! Jesus PokeOgnjen, please turn on your head! But anyways i'm correct that he is on the ground!

Why is he called ''sunshine'' Blooper? I know he is a species of a Blooper, but why is he called ''sunshine''? My answer is because he is a ground enemy since the regular ones are in water and in ground is like sunshine weather and he is here. Maybe?

I believe it’s because it’s from Super Mario Sunshine

Add it as a normal custom sprite (with the json) instead of as an extended sprite.
Then in the bloopers asm find "!projectile" (without quotes) and change the number to the number of the ink sprite.

If you're wondering I did add the ink.asm in the list file and insert it in Pixi. Everything worked fine but when the blooper started throwing enemies instead of ink at me, I knew something was wrong.

Tested with:

• Lunar Magic 3.21
• SA-1 Pack v1.32
• PIXI v1.32
• Snes9x v1.60
• bsnes plus v05

Fixed an issue with the !jumpatledge feature not working (the Blooper would always turn around), and the map16 value for actual ceilings ($014E) not being included in the ceiling tiles list. I also added some missing !BankB defines, added graphic display icons and a list to the .json for extra bit clear/set, and renamed the .json list name from "Bopping Toady".

Everything else seems to work as intended, so, accepted.

I requested this! Man I'm so happy with it. Currently using it in one of the levels in my hack.
