Description: | Hey everyone! This is Demo 1 of Super N450 World (most epic title ever, not really). Plot is the same generic one: Bowser has kidnapped Peach and Mario must rescue her. I abandoned this hack when I started it a year ago, but I found it and I decided to work on it again, though it will take some time to make a full hack or at least release another demo. This hack covers World 1 and contains: -Some ExGFX -Custom Music -Custom Sprites -At least! A functional and decent (not the best) overworld -No More Sprite Tile Limits patch so they don't disappear -Normal Difficulty (totally doable without tools or Save States, been testing for myself) Inside the zip file, you can find the bps patch for the hack and a txt with credits and some info. I tried to learn from Noivern's rejection log from my 2018 Halloween hack, which I plan to remake some day. Also, I've been playing other user's hacks to get ideas for levels. CHANGELOG: Demo 0.5: Release Demo 0.6 (fixes from 1Updudes' removal log, big thanks for reporting them!): -A couple of minor fixes in the overworld. -Fixed a potential softlock in Yellow Switch Palace by redesigning a small part of the level. -Graphical changes in Ruins of Darkness and the sub-level in Mt. Mushroom to improve visuals. -Minor fixes in some levels. Demo 0.65 (again thanks to 1Updudes for reporting the issues) -Fixed an issue where the player can move freely on the overworld -Small changes to Indigo Cave (BG palette changed as a suggestion from Green Jerry) Custom music was added to Yellow Switch Palace Demo 1: -World 1 completed and Special World added. -Minor changes and fixes to some previous levels. Demo 1.1 -Some minor changes and fixes to some levels suggested by Sariel and Darolac for a better playing experience. - Toned down a bit the difficulty in a few levels. - Giant Masked Koopa Boss has been changed for another boss to match with World 1's difficulty. It will be reused in a later castle though (a big thank you to Darolac for helping me to insert the new boss) |

Thanks! Glad you like it. None of the custom graphics and music were made by me. They were made by other users from SMW Central.
about that boss fight in the ruins of darkness, do you plan to make that route more of a secret or have it easily accessible like that in later versions? that being said, really like what i'm seeing here!

Indigo Cave:
- There is a Koopa saving the first Yoshi Coin when you climbing by beanstalk. This Koopa does not appear sometimes.
I see that Koopa appear when you jump the next 'empty' to beanstalk and then go back to climbing the beanstalk. If you do this action, Koopa appear.
- After de first beanstalk there is a Koopa. If you throw the Koopa shell inside the hole, you can obtain infinite 1UP life while the Koopa Football Player is throw balls.
- The plant that saying hi on the pipe! (Hahaha) Sometimes when you fire it with Mario or Luigi, the coin cannot be captured because it is on the pipe.
Ruins of Darkness:
- Dry Bones doesn't die if you are aquiped with the super star.
- Dry Bones doesn't die if you throw a Koopa shell.
Most of the things you mention are from the original game. Dry Bones can only be killed with the Cape Feather. About the Piranha Plant, if you throw fireballs when it is inside the pipe, the coin gets stuck there.
About the 1-UP farming, I'll have to modify something so getting lifes won't be as easy.

The first that I take my attention was the color words on intro. The green letters "MARIO A... MARIO B... MARIO...C" are too agressive.
