Description: | Welcome folks, this is the long awaited sequel to the beloved (eh) Shell's Retriever This is a kaizo hack that is entirely based on shell jumps and shell tricks that connect with each other until the level ends. There's almost no ground for you to stand on, only shells, koopas and other enemies. There are some cool custom ASM gimmicks throughout the hack that makes it less repetitive and add a unique style to the levels In comparison to its predecessor, this hack is a bit harder. So if you are in the beginning of your kaizo journey, you might wanna play Shell's Retriever first and come to this later. Also, some of the setups have some puzzley characteristics, so figuring out how to do them is going to be more challenging than a typical shell jump setup you might be used to. There are 3 Special levels, 2 of which are very difficult, much harder than the rest of the game. I made those levels for more experienced players who are looking for a more serious challenge. Be prepared for missing shell jumps in 2020 (or whatever year you're playing this) Note: This hack was not supposed to have an overworld but I couldn't get the No Overworld UberASM to work :( |

It’s a great sequel to Retriever with great levels throughout. In particular I liked how well cape city flowed as a whole. Awesome hack keep up the good work & I hope to see a trilogy one day. Thanks Cartesuis. Very Easy 5*
All levels had it's each style and were all pretty good. Especially the final any% Level and the level before were dope! This is a well made sequel of Shells Retriever; a little bit harder but improved a lot! 5/5 Stars
jankiness should never ever be a factor of difficulty, unless it's a joke hack.
This hack is sensational, it is certainly one of the best shell hacks I have ever seen, if not the best. I don't have another grade to give if it's not 5/5. I give 5/5 with great pride. CONGRATULATIONS Cartesius. Good job.
No one is making you play this. If shells and 1F0s aren't your thing, just skip this hack. This hack is very, very clear with what it is, and what it is about. I'm sure you can find plenty of old school hacks without 1F0s and shell tricks to play on your smartphone.
Imagine playing a shell hack and complaining that there are shells.
Also this is a banger shell heck, really cool stuff in this
Good job Cartesius
Ninguém forçou você a jogar.

I am very much looking forward to playing this hack. Shell's Retriever holds a special place in my heart, it was my first shell hack, it was a heck of a grind for me, but I learned so, so much from it. I have greatly improved as a kaizo and shell player since then, I am very much looking forward to the more challenging sequel.
I really enjoyed this hack. I thought there were a lot of innovative setups and ideas that were explored well. I'm glad that you're comfortable creating in your style.
If you aren't going to play, then why comment? It's easy to critique the work of others just by looking at it. You have the right to not like some hacks, but not the one to reduce others work to nothing. "I'm not going to play!" ain't necessary at all, does not bring nothing to the conversation.
If you want to critique, at least give it a chance. You can dislike the setups, whatever, but making this kind of commentary, judging something just by looking is not fair.
to be quite honest, these hacks today are very automatic, one thing goes after another ... lost that magic of Kaizo Mario World, of which you had janky as another factor of difficulty ...
It is a criticism, yes, but, for the author to improve in a next work ... I still give 4 stars for the creativity of the phases that did not have many 1f0.

Imgaine writing a comment so someone saying their hack is not innovative and you're not going to play it lmao. Keep your comments to yourself it you're just going to be negative and not give constructive criticism. Not to mention the "I'm not going to play this" is so unnecessary.
