Description: A very simple, but, beautiful background used in the battles of the Ancient Library, from the classic Final Fantasy V. It can fit maybe levels with some magical stuff, maybe? It's a very nice background and it doesn't scroll at all, so use it with BG Scroll : None, None. This rip was part of my C3 Graphic Ripping Showcase .

Uses palette 2 and 3, but only the FG2 slot.

Credit would be great, but is optional.

I'm gonna bully Byblos.

It's always kinda surprising how many colors the FF5 BGs use to me. Due to the (kinda) lack of contrast I would imagine.

That's one really big book. In context, FF5 has a wave battle mini-boss that takes place because that magic book keeps spawning enemies. A book could have anything for content, and a magic one can even write itself. You could fight just about anything in that kind of situation in SMW, no? Aside from it being a good excuse to make a lot of noise in a library with a brawl, it could also be used for a introductory cutscene to some historical background or if you are being pulled into a mysterious other realm.

Nice! And we also can use it for boss levels!
