Quite a Mediocre Hack, Not that bad

This is NOT the worst hack ever made. In fact, I actually enjoyed myself. This deserves way more than 1 star, so how about I give it 4 stars.

But before that, a proper review.

Besides the slightly cramped "Grassy Castle" near the end, I have had barely any trouble. While I can see why one can see this as "uninspired", in my opinion that's not enough for me to consider this worse than Hammer Brother Orange Version or others related to how bad that hack is. This is far from the worst. Unlike the worst ones, I had fun. Music choices, while not my preferred choices, fit their environments well enough (props for using Krook's March tho!)

The only real flaw I can say is it's a demo. I'm sad that this might not get finished. Yes the English could be better, yes the design could take slight influence from hacks that are rated higher that aren't "Kaizo: Lights", and the save brick at the end is a thing you should be aware about before entering if you want to have access to all the levels. But none of this results in the hack being a bad experience. It's average, played better, and certainly played worse.

4/5, a good experience if you want something quick and easy.

Acceptable, and the level design is fine.

Some notes:

- The English in the message boxes has a lot of mistakes. Consider getting someone to proofread it.
- The overworld path is filled in in the beginning of the game. I would encourage you to learn overworld events and fill the path in as the game progresses.
- Cutoff (wrong corner tile).
- Cutoff (naked vine endings, also found in other levels).
- This overworld path gives access to the castle before 1-7 VINE VALLEY has been beaten.
- After beating the first castle, the game is softlocked. Pressing A/B/X/Y on the overworld enters an infinite bonus game.

Please try to address these in the next version.

fun cute vanilla levels, not hard at all. took about 20 minutes to get through even with exploration and collecting all the dragon coins. weird two tile jumps at the end of castle 1 was fun to get through. i think i beat it? ended in a bonus game room that didn't end.
