Description: From the recent Kaizo hack Invictus.

Original samples used. This is a calm and atmospheric piece well suited for a cave, overworld, water, or other similar level.

There are two main sections: The first with the melody line played through vibraphone samples and the second with a similar melody played with a woodwind sample backed by staccato strings.

I pared this down from 6 tracks to 8 as it did not work well with any of the instruments playing in sfx channels.

Main reason for leaving out the two channels was playtester feedback about them interfering with sfx in the level this was used in. If I submit changes I will probably include a file for the full version as well. I will look at the vibrato to see if I can smooth things out. Thanks for the review

    Immediate Notices:
2 channels are missing *reads Submission Notes* Oh okay, let's see how this turns out.

This sounds pretty great even with 2 channel's missing. It does seem a bit rather empty without the full chords. In my opinion when porting other snes games, never sacrifice channels unless you can squeeze them to another's empty part. Not sure why you decided not to include those missing channels but it still sounds pretty great with how it turned out. As always here are some quick notes that have nothing to do with the outcome of the moderation but more as small details you may or may not have missed if you're going for accuracy.

    Notes:
Upon hearing, the vibrato from yours is a bit too aggressive. Did you compensate it for the tempo changes that you may have made or was the tempo set like this first shot (the original's vibrato is a lot slower)? This is also the same for the wind instrument. The original's music box parts don't utilize vibrato (well they kinda do but its an ever slight pitch difference that it's best kept off). Though I don't know if you were doing this to make up for that weird pan tremolo in the original. Simply something I noted in just in case if it was by mistake, if on purpose then I'm sure you had your reasons. At the 18 second mark, the panning on channel 1 and 3 on the original is hard panned at 0C.

Yeah, mainly on the back half, there was another sustained string and staccato string part I left out.

Are you sure about that? It's not noticeable anyway.
