Description: | Version 1.6 edit: If you have v1.2 OR v1.4, please update to this latest version, I made a mistake that makes the game unbeatable. When you’re building a video game world you’re building with ideas. And that can be like working with quick-cement. You mold your ideas into a certain shape that can be played with. And in the process of playing with them they begin to harden and set, until they are immutable, like rock. At that point you can’t change the world - not without breaking it into pieces and starting fresh with new ideas. -Bennett Foddy When I started Working on Super DGR World I had no idea how to use Lunar Magic, custom graphics, asm, any of that stuff, but I had a will. I knew I could make a hack worth people's time. Not just a really hard hack, a fun hack, a challenging hack, a hack for someone I respect. Let this game be a reminder to any romhacker, romhack player, anyone at all, if you have a will to do something no matter what as long as you follow through, get people who you know can help you, become invested in the community, and most of all believe in yourself, anything is possible.. This hack will not work on Zsnes and may have graphical glitches with Gradient effects if you use Retro Arch with a Snes9x core (However these issues with Retro Arch does not change gameplay) I wish you the best of luck -Sweetdude |

And here I am pulling out my hair!.. I haven't touched a SNES in 30 years and was never any good though.. Even with savestates I'm having some troubles on some levels, but I do agree this is an awesome hack.. loving the music
also where did you find the song hopes and dreams(I can't find it anywhere on SMW Central)
This hack also has amazing music, amazing graphics, and so much content. I recommend this to everybody ever to exist. 6/5
*Can you try to get that version of Africa in the music section? I wanted to use it in my hack but I didn't have time to get a midi and fix the code because of time constraints...
It's not too hard so it is a good hack for beginners and it gets progressively harder (though some levels really ramp up the difficulty and may take some patience to beat). Throughout the hack there are also messageboxes which can help the player figure out what to do.
The soundtrack is amazing, the graphics are awesome and the tech is fun. And I LOVE the bosses. Highly recommended for both beginners and intermediate kaizo-players!
I stayed almost the whole night awake, just because I couldnt quit after every single level... bravo sir!
My Rating: 4.5/5
Music fits most of the levels really well.
If you are new to kaizo i can really recommend this hack, its very beginner friendly.
I highly recommend this to anyone new to kaizo, believe me you will enjoy it
This kaizo hack tends to be on the easier side, so I would recommend it to those who are looking for a good intro hack (save for the last level- which was pretty obnoxious)
Overall graphics were fun and music was good.
Gameplay fell a little short for my expectations for kaizo but it is aimed at a much lower difficulty than i enjoy.
Probably want to take more time and make sure you can't skip certain sections. I found a lot of alternate solutions to things which kaizo should typically avoid. Luckily nothing too serious though.
I do have two complaints though. The rocks with red spikes in them were hard to see, and their sprites were really small compared to their hitboxes. In a couple of levels, like

THe skill level isn't too hard for me so far, will update when I beat more. Great hack so far!
It gets progressively harder as you go so a beginner might struggle a little bit towards the end, but it's definitely something you can overcome. Throughout the hack there are some helpful info-blocks too that will help you on your way. The first time I playtested it I had only been running kaizos for about a week and I was still able to get through it, so with a little perseverance it's definitely doable for a beginner.
Super DGR World features some amazing graphics and the soundtrack is just AWESOME. The different tech in the hack is fun and feels fair too.
I will warmly recommend this hack to anyone. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
