Hey thanks!

That's a very good arcade hack, with clever lever design and not too hard difficulty.

10/10 (5 stars) Thank you for this great work =]

his pallete is switched? Not sure what you mean Tarkan. I used some original sprites and some awesomezack's maybe I made a mistake somewhere?

why is Mario's palette is switched?

having the scrolling as a generator limited me, I could have added wind, flying koopas, cheeps, etc. some of those athletic levels were intended to have this but it didn't like 2 generators at once. I need to get the scrolling converted to uberasm.

I like it, you came very close to that real arcade feel. Key word close, like Zac Mario pointed out its just too easy. Arcade games are supposed to be ungodly difficult, so you end up using a lot more coins. Because this ISNT an arcade game, I think it works fine.

i'll give u a hint. But not here incase others don't know yet.

I love almost everything about this hack. My only two real complaints are: 1.) That hammer brother in, I think, 4-1 is hella unfair. 2.) The pipe maze thing in the final castle ... I really hate that crap and the only reason it doesn't annoy me in SMB1 at this point is because 30 years have made me memorize those. I got in an inescapable loop in that final castle where the magikoopa is. Every pipe, every combination of them and it just ... wouldn't let me out.

Yeah my level design does need help. Also at the same time many only play smw and not the older games so I didn't want to overwelm them with pyshics.
Unforetunetly I don't own a system capable of running bsnes. However I did install th dsp patch to this rom it seemed to help slow in a few spots containing sprites that use cirular motion such as the ball and chain and rotaing platforms. I have cofirmed they use mutipication/division commands which is a dsp function.

My guess is is all dsp roms might ask for this dsp1b.rom
But I would need goole to confirm this.

Pretty fun hack! Feels a lot like SMB1, too! I must say, though, it's a little on the easy side- a lot of the levels are just "run forward, jump over enemies, straight path". 2-2 is easily the worst, there's really not much to this water level, I'm sure you could make it more dynamic and exciting! But overall, you've done a great job! ^^

One major thing: Upon loading the hack in bsnes, I got an error that said "dsp1b.rom" was missing, and that the hack would be unplayable...then everything loaded just fine. I have no idea what happened there, and everything really was playing just fine, but you may want to look into it?

I'm glad like it. You're right about pallet issues, they've plagued me with this hack.
You're also quite right about the amount of time stopping, it is actually based on smb3, the rest is smb 1.

As far as 2 player it require building an overworld, the no overworld patch is one player only.

I absolutely love this ROM hack, it's quite special. It feels like Super Mario Bros one if it was made on SMB1, there is one issue I have thought. Mario's eyes seem to share the same colour as Mario's head then it will be white, {Same for his fists.} it just looks weird. Also I think it would be fun to play it with a friend.
One LAST thing.
Mario's slow down seems to take a little to much but that's just me :}

Thanks, glad you liked it. Awesomezack of mfgg drew the custom mario poses. He also drew the smb styled decorations.
Originaly I planned on making this in nsmb ds, but I couldn't figure out how to bypass the overworld.

The hack was pretty good! It usually brings back the old Mario feel while having the NSMB-like gameplay. The graphics are pretty good! My favorite is Mario, The jumping animation looks improved. Anyway, Good job! :>

I will fix them.

I guess it's good enough for now. There are no major issues that demand a rejection. The hack's idea is good, but some of the levels felt either boring (mainly those with the autoscroll/water levels) or extremly frustrating (most of the ones in w6). Plus, there are palette errors in almost every level. The most frequent one is the palette of your pipes, where the color fade isn't in the correct order.

Despite all this, I think it meets the standards of being in the section, although I really recommend you to submit an update, mainly to fix the following errors:
- As I said, the hack is full of palette errors. While most of them aren't too bothering, the ones I found annoying are this FG/BG, this BG + ice bro's ice ball, this bg and these donut lifts.
- The mechakoopa has garbled tiles in this level.
- You disabled spinjumping... so why you have this setting here? There's no way to take that yoshi coin, unless I'm missing something.
- Did you happen to edit this track? Because it's weirdly desyncing in this part. Talking with the author, seems that the issue isn't on his end.

2/5 for now. This hack is good enough to be accepted, but the overall quality isn't very good, especially on the aesthetic (again, mostly the palettes). Highly suggesting you to update this.
