Description: Super Mario: Other World is a hack I've been working on for the last couple of months (despite being nowhere near finished). It's based off of the original Super Mario World, but isn't vanilla and uses custom graphics , music, blocks, and sprites. This is the first demo, which only shows World 1 with 8 exits, so you can get a bit of a taste of what this hack will have to offer.

---
What to expect in the next update:

-Removal of intro and defeated boss cutscenes
-Addition of Worlds 2, 3, and possibly 4
-Improved palettes
-More custom blocks, enemies, music, and graphics
-Varied boss fights

This obviously wasn't an intended behavior, the water scrolls up with the player. Just change the layer 3 water to constant scroll and you'll be set.

Set the Red Switch Palace message to this level's OW number.

Other than those two issues, you should be good to go.

I really enjoyed this demo! Especially the castle level, really nicely put together! I also enjoy how the first world has a pineapple-esc. palette, as the level names suggest. Good stuff.

Any critiques I can give of the demo are nitpicks, really. At worst, the layer 3 water follows you up in some levels, but that didn't particularly bother me.

Can't wait to see the completed version!
