Description: | This is a hack that I have been working on for about 2 months, I have decided to release my demo of it, which is just World 1. I have used as much new GFX, music, sprites, and things of that nature as I possibly could, this is going to be changed alot in the next few weeks and months while I am still working on this hack. Alot of the graphics in this hack were ripped by me, others were downloaded from this site, along with the music, and sprites. I have been working very hard on this hack. Please note that the jump Sound effect in Dino's Cliffs is kind of screwed up, I don't have the slightest idea why, it must have something to do with the Rockface Rumble song that I am using in it. I hope you enjoy my demo. fixme: music breaks on accurate emulators. |

The levels are far too easy and have nothing to offer, there are random difficulty spikes like in the castle, there's this super precise jump for no good reason. I won't compliment the sound and visuals, since you pretty much borrowed everything.
The bigger offender in here is the design, which is flat for the whole lenght of the hack. The only obstacles in your way will be enemies, and the level will keep a linear shape for all its lenght. Despite using some different gimmicks (like the Yoshi Coin collecting, or the boss bass level), they didn't end up being very fun since they didn't use all their potential. They couldn't in any way, since it's a long way right every time.
Aesthetics are more or less. Some tilesets have been assembled weirdly, some others looked clashy with the overall style, others looked just wrong and others had palettes issue. The author showed that he can insert graphics in his hack, not more.
As only issue worth of mention, music breaks on accurate emulators.
Overall, it was pretty boring, but not this awful. 2/5.
