This is the first hack I've submitted, but not my first hack that I've made.

This hack features the works: ExGFX, Custom Music, Bosses, etc.

Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Please read the readme enclosed for more details.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you see something in my hack that is yours and I did not list it in Credits..txt, please let me know so your name can be in that file.

bumped this up to standard: hard, could possibly go higher. Levels are long with no checkpoints and limited lives.

Playing this hack was very weird.

The design is what brings this down. It feels very random: some sections have no enemies, others are very flat, others are empty, some are frustrating... it was very weird. Weird is the difficulty curve too, sometimes hard bosses popping out of blue (like the hammer bros in the first level). Another thing that really penalizes it is that this hack is incomplete: there are no proper warnings if a level ends at a certain point, if a level is still wip, and so on. The player will be the one that have to realize it. It feels a really unprofessional work, even for an hack. Not good at all.

Aesthetic-wise, it's no better: clashes over clashes, silly paletting and cutoff pretty much. Sometimes they were okay, but as overall the work with the graphics is very poor and not worked properly.

Some issues:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Slowdown which really frustrates the player.
- "Top Secret Area" has no sense: you can collect a powerup, only usable in this level, but you can't go anywhere. Of course, the only way to leave this level is to die.
- "Mountain Cave"'s secret exit leads to a dead end. Work in progress ayy?~

Overall, this hack is very bad. If only the author polished the demo more before releasing it...
