Also, I think it's okay to "spoil" it now.
Here's all the secrets I've found as of episode 5. Don't read if you want to find them yourself.

Also, I'm excluding the cyphers at the end of the credits.

Intro:
Nohing special in the beginning, but notice the bald googles man and Gideon among the pictures.
The whisper at the very end of the intro, when played backwards, says "three letters back"
The big image with the dapper all-seeing eye in the middle. It has "VWDQ LV QRW ZKDW KH VHHPV", the Konami code, and a circle of symbols representing important characters from the show; From top, clockwise: Soos, ???, Stan, Dipper, Gideon, ???(the writer?), Mabel(?), Mabel(?*), Robbie, ???.

*This is most likely the correct symbol for Mabel.

Tourist Trapped:
The bald guy from the intro, at 16:58

Legend of the Gobblewonker:
Advertisement for Gideon in the backside of the magazine Dipper is reading.
The bald guy from the intro, at 3:36

Headhunters:
The bald guy from the intro, at 4:56
at 08:11, the bald guy and Robbie are among the suspects

And this is pretty much all I have for now =/
In the next post I'll begin with speculations =P
Please keep spoilers within spoiler tags, as you are doing right now. It's for the best.

He kept stressing on that for the whole thread.
Great reading it.
Your layout has been removed.
So I came across this when looking for music:

The "first version" of the GF opening theme. Technically it was made for some MTV show according to the youtube comments. I think I like it better than the actual theme.

EDIT: Oh, and theories:
I think Stan's getting blackmailed by someone. Stan "not being what he seems" doesn't necessarily point to him being evil, but he's still hiding something. Plus he'd have a reason for wanting money besides greed.

Oh, and goggles guy: In the three scenes I've seen him, he's always bending over and/or picking something up. I wonder if he's collecting stuff. Also, in episode 2, he disappears between shots; animation error or some sort of teleportation? He's got a gizmo on his belt.

I was referring to this:

Though, I'm not sure how important the thing he was talking about was.

There are many theories about Stan. One of the theories is that he's the writer, or the person the writer is hiding from. I really doubt that the former is true, mainly because they should each have one symbol in the ring. Mabel wearing the llama sweater still confuses me though =/
The latter is much more likely, though it isn't definite in any way.
I really want to see the tattoo on his back though; it might have some significance.
And speaking of the writer. Two other theories is that he's Soos, or Dipper from the future. I dismiss both if these because of the earlier stated reasoning =P

The Stan blackmail thing might be true though; I think I heard somewhere that episode 6 reveals some more stuff about Stan. I should go and watch that soon(probably the last episode I watch in 720p)

One of the most popular theories is that he's a time traveler, either searching for clues around a case involving the twins, or much more likely, collecting stuff from the "past".

And for a theory of my own: I think the Ice symbol belongs to the flying brain monster from "The Inconveniencing". You'll notice that he appears in a ice cabinet, and that the symbol on the ice bags is pretty much the same as the one in the ring. This would also make it the first confirmed non-human with a symbol.
Gduq, wkhb'uh rq wr xv =v
After watching the first episode, I can say this show looks really promising. It should keep me occupied while I wait for season 3 of MLP.
Usually, On demand gets it one week before, so the next episode, in 480p, should come out tomorrow.
Double Dipper:

'Bout as expected. Not bad, not great.

Wonder if Dipper's cutie mark... err, birth mark will have any significance or if it's just an explanation for his name and/or a joke.
Double Dipper was pretty neat, much better than I expected actually :3
But still, it's only average-ish for Gravity Falls standards.

Irrational Treasure however is a mighty contestant for best episode yet; at least it's up there with the Hand That Rocked the Mabel and The Inconveniencing.
Yep, Irrational Treasure is probably my second favorite, after episode 1.

Something that hit me: What ever happened to Mabel's grappling hook? She got it at the end of episode one, and it seemed more than a throwaway gag.
because episode one was actually made somewhat into the show. Legend of the gobblewonker was the the first episode to be made[source]
(notice how it says episode 101)
headhunters is 103(same source), while tourist trapped is 107 [source]

I'm not sure if this is known publicly; I actually figured this out by myself :3

brb submitting it to reddit =P
I'm getting conflicting sources for the production codes, actually. The Gravity Falls wiki lists them as airing in order (with Tourist Trapped being 101), Wikipedia lists them in an entirely different order, and then there's yours (which is probably the most trustworthy).
Looks pretty rad. I stopped watching Disney Channel a few years ago, but this seems pretty good. I'll give it a try when I'm not trying to rush through season 5 of Pokemon.
Gravity Falls kind of looks like Regular Show
It has been a while.
I just watched Irrational Treasure(apparently I don't need μTorrent for everything since my cable provider's OnDemand service carries a ton of shows for free), and I've gotta say this is one of the best shows I've seen in a while. The animation is damn good and the writing is perfect. My favorite character is definitely Mabel.

btw Pacifica Northwest is hawt
Just watched Time Traveler's pig.

I SO CALLED IT
