I just never saw the appeal in Team Fortress 2. I have about six hours clocked in total, but aside from a few mods I found interesting, it got old pretty quickly for me. Then again, this is coming from the same person who got tired of Skyrim after only 25ish hours, so maybe sandbox/open-ended games just aren't my thing anymore.
The Bar & Grill: you ever notice how its called Bar ‘n’ Grill in the opening post but it’s called Bar & Grill in the title? What
I don't play Team Fortress 2 often, but I do end up having fun when I do. I tend to get next to zero points, but it isn't really a game I want to take seriously so I don't. Source Filmmaker though is awesome, I can go all day on it.

However I haven't played tf2 yet. For some reason my computer is lagging with every game I play (even limbo). It's definitely not the computer itself, so I'm trying to figure it out. Buu gave me some advice regarding it so I'll give it a shot when I get home.

I'd try Skyrim, but i got tired of Morrowind after two hours or so, so looks like Skyrim won't be my thing.
As for sandboxes, i actually like some, such as the GTA saga. As for TF2, i sometimes play it, but not too much. My brother, on the other hand, is a flat out addict.
Also Dinomar, there's indeed trade (instead of money, you pay with weapons or metal). And the drop system. My brother is a merchant and he's always selling something.

It was just glitchy stuff...

So I received an early birthday gift today. It's an electric violin from Long & McQuade and it cost way, way too much.
Welp. Time to break my ass learning it.

Does anyone know how to convert static gifs to pngs without losing the transparency or generating artifacts in Paint?

Use another image editor. MS Paint is pretty much the only one to not support transparency.

So I decided today was the day I'd fix my desk, untangle all the wires and clean up under my computer. After unplugging everything, pulling it all out, tightening the screws on my desk legs (it no longer wobbles~) and vacuuming up the floor underneath I have to say it looks about the same because I can't see underneath. However there went from 12 wires plugged in under my computer to 7, so glad I got those out.
Oh and no dead mouse in the computer, so that's good. Although I did fuck up with my monitor cable. I put the wrong side in the monitor so it got stuck and I had to break off the nut or w/e it slides into.
Also my mom started crying because she couldn't figure out how to set up the routers and wouldn't let me do it because she thought I'd break it. So that was a pleasant sight.

Yes, but what editors can open gifs? Paint.net can't, not too sure if the animation plugin allows...

Well, SMWC and I are like the Detroit Red Wings and Steve Yzerman. Although no hacks to show off, but a few hacks reviewed by me, I thought I would do something that I haven't done in all my SMWC life.
Your layout has been removed...NOT! :D

Pretty sure Gimp can make animations. Or you can do what most Photoshop users do and get a pirated version of Photoshop.

That's quite the violin you've got there. I may not be an enthusiast, but I must say it looks pretty spiffy.
I actually kind of envy the instrument players of the world. It would have neat to learn some sort of instrument (even if it was the much sawed after piano) as a kid. But alas, I've grown much older and my free time has kind of dwindled as a result. It'd be cool to learn at some point, but not now.

I look at the BG every time there's a new post, even if I don't post a lot here myself.
So, my family and I are going to move to a new house now, closer to the capital city. Which is actually quite nice for me, since I'm going to study there, and can live with them till I find my own place :3
Also we might be getting a 70 Mb/s Internet this time, which would probably be quite awesome =D
Edi: wrong amount =P

I moved twice in the last 3 years in an interesting way. After my parents divorced I went with my mom and moved about 5 minutes away from my dad. Then over the summer this year my dad moved and is now 5 minutes away from my mom's in the opposite direction.
