Well there was indeed a time when I was searching that stuff but there wasn't really anything at all that was good I mean, there was only a few that were really any good at all.

I think artists need to get off their asses.

Anyways... So I was watching S02E06 when I noticed something in the background at 8:36. Did anyone else notice this before?

Yep. Fanon is time shenanigans with Dr Whooves, iirc.
I've successfully converted all my (remaining) friends into bronies. I did lose some friends, but the ones I lost are those assholes that call anything they don't like "gay" And I don't consider people like that friends. Let alone human beings. About that, they even called the show gay. Their definition of gay: a man who likes another man. Now tell me... How can a show be gay? I mean, does the cartoon magicly grow legs and walk out of the TV screen and get funky with another TV show? No! Does the show have emotions?! No! Do shows have a gender?! NO! The logic of some people just baffles me. Sorry if I got off topic, I just had to let that out.

Edit: Up goes my level. Time for takeoff!

Gay can also me happy. So with those words, the show is happy and thus makes others happy. So in a sense, the show is gay! But not in a man-on-man definition.

I know, but that's their definition of it. But who cares about them! They're missing out on this show.
I just got back from BronyCon. It was just amazing and unbelievable. I'm at a loss of words but yeah, never had such fun before in my life.

That they are missing out. People who judge something without seeing it is just ignorant.

I seethe with jealousy.

I would've gone, but had no one to go with. I'm not paying $500 round trip to be alone for two days :(

I would also need someone to go with if I went next year. I don't have any IRL brony friends, let alone some to spend the money to enjoy a convention for 2 days. Maybe I'll just find someone on this site to meet up with haha. (Looks at SNN)

It almost sounds like you're saying that jokingly, but I would totally go if we could get a group of 4-5 to split the cost. That's one of the only reasons I didn't go as well - I simply cannot afford a plane ticket, hotel, food, etc. myself.

Maybe it's something to seriously consider next year.

You know that's probably more feasible than we think. Perhaps next year sometime we should really start planning something out. No joke in this post either. If you're willing to make an effort, then I'm game too.

Barring the world ending (or ponies somehow going straight down the tube), I'm in if you're at all serious.

I literally asked everyone I knew who was into ponies to go this year, but the costs dissuaded everyone. Alas.
The cost was the biggest problem that prevented my friends from going. I believe I had enough money to go,
but I checked my work schedule and saw that I was appearently working the bronycon week.
Turns out, that today, when I checked it again, I was looking at the wrong week.

Turns out I could attend after all... *d'oh!*

I'm having serious thoughts of going next year. Once I'm done with work, and have started uni, I'll definetly have enough money to travel.
Heck, even my parents encouraged me to go! So yeah, I'd totally go with you guys if you're going! The more, the better!
The problem is, we would need to organize it very carefully. None of us know each other outside of this website and it would be very easy for one of us to say we're going and then just not show up or bail entirely. I guess the safest way to do it would be to collect the money on an isolated PayPal account (I'd probably host it) and then directly wire the money to the necessary places (hotel, the Con itself I guess).

Anyway, we still have a whole year to wait, but if things are still going strong with all of us in January or something, then we can definitely discuss it in more detail then.
This would already be the biggest SMWC meetup so far, wouldn't it?

Either way, if nothing gets in the way, I'll probably join you guys.
Your layout has been removed.
I would love to meetup with some of you guys at a pony convention, though it would probably have to be at EverfreeNW rather than BronyCon if I were to go. I'm actually within reasonable driving distance of Seattle, but it looks like most of you would have to travel farther.

And I would need permission from my parents. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
I would be interested in going, though I don't want to spend too much money. It would be much cooler if I was going with people from here (who I somewhat know) rather than just myself. Maybe I can also invite my younger brother, who is also a brony...
The more the merrier. I know all about tag-along brothers, being one myself in my younger years.
