Things you wish you did more of when you were younger

I recently started playing the piano again (recently as in three days ago). I've played and learned a decent number of instruments in my life, but the last time I touched a piano was over ten years ago. As such, I'm pretty terrible at it and can only play a few basic songs - Auld Lang Syne, America and Bach's Minuet in G. Had I actually devoted more time to it in the past, I think I'd be pretty fantastic at this point.

I also played baseball quite a bit when I was younger. My dad was (and still is) a very avid lover of the sport, and he would always sign me up for local teams in hopes of shaping me into a decent player. However, once again, I just suddenly stopped doing it and any skill I had diminished completely. In retrospect, I enjoyed it quite a bit and would love to pick it back up at some point.

What about you? Is there anything you wish you did more of when you were younger?
To not waste all the time I got with playing pointless videogames.
And, to learn to play at least 1 instrument.
Listening to music (yeah, got into it very late), actually playing an instrument and going out...
i just lurk sometimes
I just mourn my bad (and horrible) times in school in general: i wish i had more friends with less prejudges against me, and, especially, in superior school, i wanted a place where i could get a reasonable ranking without arselicking the stupid teachers (indeed most of them would give you a good rank in base of your sympathy and in base of how often you would offer them a coffee), so, i just had better to change to a better school (The Arezzo's art high school is a total shit, a total mess from top to bottom) Now i just regret to not having changed school when i had problem with my stupid classmates even in the first place. This would have made me more willing to study at school and even discuss subjects with friends i never had there.

To my classmates and teachers, that will unlikely read this: GO FUCK YOURSELF!

I wish I had given musical instruments a realistic chance at all when I was younger. Like, my mom once bought me a flute and I even took lessons, but only for a few weeks, then I quit because I still couldn't play perfectly.
I recently started learning to play the keyboard (recently being January 18th 2012), though I'm not taking any lessons. I still very much suck at it, but this time I at least am motivated, so I might actually stick to it.

Also, I wish I had spent more time with my friends from ~7th grade on. This may be just me taking the easy way out, but I tend to blame the fact that I barely am in real contact with people other than my family outside of school on the high significance I gave to the internet in my life. Though it is getting a little better lately (I think).

I may be 16, but same as Neutron here.

Enjoy life. Seriously, the only thing I kept looking forward to is growing up and becoming older, but the times were all a lot better back then. I don't know, but I can't seem to be happy with any age I have.

And otherwise, play basketball a lot more. I could've become one of the best players of my country if I just put more time in it. Kind of disappoints me when I think about it, now.

I mean fuuuuuuuu-
Later.
Oh god, my biggest one I REALLY wished I could've done was go outside like little kids should do and have a social life. Well... I definitely don't know exactly if going out a lot when younger is what makes kids more social but nonetheless, being social and enjoying life!!! Especially how for quite a long time now, I've been trying to improve my social skills and been thinking about it a lot and such. So yeah, that's a biggy for me.

I would've also wanted to play either the guitar or drums. Those rather interested me for some time now and still do.
I probably should've started socialising earlier on in life but I suppose part of the reason I didn't is how I was raised. To live inside and almost fear what's around me. Pretty much the reason I was into games in the first place was because I was always told never to go outside. It became almost a bad habit of mine.

That and listen to my mother a lot less. She just moulded me into that nervous wreck. Oh well, I don't put up with her shit anymore.

I really wish I had kept at trying to learn to do ASM about 3 years ago. If I had kept at it I might have actually gotten somewhere.

Other than that, I really have no regrets. I liked being anti social and practically living in my room, that and investing my time into art. Better than being out on the streets doing drugs and getting into fights.

Holy shit, that's what I've being trying to do this past year! I never was social when I was growing up, and I had a terrible school life. But now that I'm trying to be social, its sort of working (sort of being the key words).

I still am young.
"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."
More extracurriculars in high school. Didn't join speech and debate until my senior year and could've partipated in Model United Nations, Mock Trial, and a couple other clubs too.

Golf's also another thing: I played a fair bit in my early teens, but drifted out of it and haven't played again since. It's too bad too, since nearly every high school or college has a golf team.
Nothing, really. I've done most everything I wanted to do in my childhood.

The only big things I'd change would be A) not stress out over sexual stuff during puberty, and B) get ADHD medication.
Though I'm twelve years old - too young for this thread, perhaps, one thing I wish I did when I was younger was get more musical experience. I played around with a guitar to a certain degree since I was around six, but always wished my dad had showed me more about it. I only got into music around two years ago when I started the piano, but we had a MIDI piano way back and it's really a shame my eight-year-old self showed so little interest in it too.

Also, it isn't really a "thing I wish I did more of", but if I had found out I had aspergers syndrome before the beginning of the year, that would've been nice.

I'm fortunate enough to have more time, so this thread really isn't for me, heh.
I'm twelve, and... I don't miss anything. My social life goes very well, I had good travels to other parts of my state with school and friends many times, and my family is always just awesome. Perhaps, learn english, spanish and music since when I was younger would be cool too, but I'm nice as I am so far.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?

Tip:
Some of the things I wished I had were probably spending more time with some of my family back when I was closer to some of them. I also wished I wrote down every "little" adventure I had in my head so I didn't have trouble trying to describe them now. Writing my story would have been a lot easier if I started a lot sooner.

I also wished I spent more time hanging out with people back long ago, even though I would have moved away each and every year regardless. It is the experience that would have been good for me in the long run.

Oh and I also wished I kept playing Trombone or at least kept my instrument so I could play it now. Oh and possibly learning other instruments as well.

I wish I would have paid more attention to my actions when I was younger. I still cringe on these videos I watch of my past, my past writings, creations, report cards, everything. I feel like I'm less of a person for not paying more attention when I was younger, and I missed a lot of opportunities.
I probably could have advanced and skipped fifth grade.
