My thread of questions (Corner Clip Problem)

I found that with Y speed 70, you cannot always corner clip. It's easier with lower speeds. So, make it:

First, try to go through the other block, since you will die in the first one.

Let n be the lowest number of frames you press B in the beginning of the jump (continuously), in order to guarantee you will not hit the wall, but fall onto the top of it.

So, press B for n-1 frames, and thus you would hit the wall.

Then, start holding B in the end of the jump. If you hit the wall again, start pressing B one frame earlier, until you corner clip.

If you can't do it, then send me the save state (not the smv file) and let me try.
PS: I will re-upload the images in another site.

Tried it 5 times before you even mentioned it, and it won't work
(I spent like a half hour on it)
Your layout has been removed.
Now it's solved. I didn't have problems to clip, my only issues were Snes9x 1.51 adaptation and x subpixel management. However, the block from below is way harder, I didn't clip it yet!

Okay, a few things:
1) You're picture on the previous page is stretching the tables. ^^;
2) You're clipping the wrong block. If you use that one, there's no possible way for you to survive while small. You have to use the one to the upper-left of it.
3) X position is two bytes, not one. Not really required, but it's better.
4) Subpixels are hex, you know. So is speed technically, but no one bothers to use hex for that (though it'd be easier).
Also use SMWUtils.

I use the non-lua version of snes9x 1.51. I've tried 1.43 and the lua version of 1.51, but little things stress me out and I think I'm sticking with my current version.
