SMWCeption [Update #6 - 5/9/12]

I'm creating hack called SMWCeption.

The plot is simple. System and army vs Chester and army. System's allies will wear red, and Chester's allies will wear blue. Neutral civilians wear green.

It takes place in SMW Central itself. System will travel through the innards of the website, conquering his enemies in the battlefield. In the end, he will have the final showdown with Chester.

This is looking neat so far. I can't really judge it until some level screenshots are posted, though. But good luck, anyways!

Sarcasm? Also edit's bg ripper killed some of the graphics. I'll need to redrawn some of the and redo palettes

Those '?'blocks should be closer to the pipe and ideally be animated.
Also shouldn't they have a little bit of space between them?

You are absolutely right, but I was very limited when it came to that. Since each block is 16x16, I would have to have either no space, or an entirely 16x16 block's space between them. When I placed a space between every tile, I was only able to include half the entire menu (plus I already had to nuke 4 items off the menu).

This hack will be released as a double pack: Playable as System, final boss is Chester
or
Playable as Chester, final boss is System
But the Chester one will probably be easier because I know Chester supporters can't handle difficulty.
You can only show one palette at once in YY-CHR, so the hair IS red, if you use the correct palette in-game.

I only finished the walking frames and jumping and falling, as well as ducking. I would have more done but I've been working on them trying to make them as flawless as possible.
