You should force SJ to make a TAS of it. I don't do pits :x. Haven't decided to try and work SNES9x yet.
Why not go to my Youtube channel?

Thx but living on the edge, It is impossible without TAS, don't agree look at the video of how to finish it! you can't wall jump and it is impossible to move that fast in the beginning

If you become an expert on playing and knowing like TFB and Regnum0nline, you can walljump easily and do various tricks with sprites and objects.
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
U mean you don't have to cheat to wall jump?!

No, you need to hit the 16th subpixel of a wall, or basically a boundary between two blocks, while falling, and going at least 32 speed. I guess the cheat of watching your speed would help, but no, you don't have to.
I've walljumped in the actual snes game on my wii (virtual console wii channel) before.
O_O how do humans know exactly where to land when doing that and how much is ''32 speed''?! I am confused, there has to be more.....

There's a tool that comes with the Snes9x emulator called the RAM watch that lets you keep track of the values of specific RAM addresses. Set up a watch for 7E007B with "signed" and "1 byte", and there you go. As for the pixel part, you can either simply look for the borders between blocks or watch Mario's Y position (7E0094, signed, 2 byte) and check for multiples of 16.
For reference:
Signed = Decimal, values 00-7F are positive, 80-FF are negative.
Unsigned = Decimal.
Hexadecimal = Hexadecimal (duh).

When I wrote my post I just knew you were gonna outdo me on it lol

in simpler terms, fling yourself at a wall until you catch it

EDIT: Wow I'm a coconut!!
why does this have to be so hi-technical.......

1 block is 16 sub pixels, basically. So just hit the border of two connected blocks and you're golden.
Done with SMW for a while.
