An Untitled Quest! [Demo I] - 1337H4mm3rBr0z

Levels: 14

Description: This is Demo 1 of my hack "An Untitled Quest!". The levels were designed to be in esque of SMW, with some chocolate mixed in, sort of like the VIP and Wall Mix series.

New stuff in demo 1:
-World 1 complete with 12 (!) levels!

-Edited title screen! (demo movie still pending)

Hope you enjoy!

Not bad actually! The level design was alright but a little plain at times. It's got a certain feel to it and the palettes are pretty good. But there are some removal reasons:

You really need to edit this title screen. Mario hopping around like the original movements with no where to go looks weird.

Major slowdown areas. The splitting chuck tends to do that.

I jumped and fell through the ground here because of the hill merging right into a vertical wall. Put a flat ground tile at the base of the hill or use this.

I walked through this one.

Forced hits are generally frowned upon. It's the only way to grab the shell!

Now I'm stuck until the timer runs out. Put an invisible coin block on the wall or something.

You really have to shell jump to get here. That's boarder line kaizoish. If you run out of P-switch time, then you have to kill yourself to restart the level.

Minor cutoff at the corner tile. Actually there's a lot of cutoff in this level because of the FG water graphics.

Great, I killed chuck, now I can't get up there.

You seriously want people to jump from net to net and carry a springboard without it falling in the lava once? Revamp.

Not the worst, not the best. A few glitches here and there that shouldn't be too much of a hassle to fix. I couldn't use the Star road on the map but I guess it's because it's a demo so it's okay. But there's something strange... Grassy hills 2, to get the secret exit you need to go on an alternate path to get to the yellow switch palace. However there are yellow switch blocks in the pathway to help you get to the yellow switch??? There's no way these yellow blocks can be filled in the first time around and you have no use to come back again.
