How's it look?

Hmm... It's great GFX, but there is a cutoff on the slope.
The graphics look awesome, Reghrhre, but the outlines of the clouds are way too dark in my opinion.

Man, I haven't done anything for my own SMW hacks in a while now.

Unfinished set. Still need to draw the Background.
Also need to change the status bar.

I dont know if its only me, but I believe you should change those question mark blocks, as smw's look very flat compared to youre pseudo 3D forground.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll fix the cloud outline.

I must be blind right now but where is it exactly?

Second picture, the slope-the ground.

I think that is what he may be referring to, although barely noticeable, but I could still see it too. Dunno if this what he was talking about though lol.

I figured he was talking about the shadows on the upper part of the hill, which didn't even stand out to me because it could very well have been intentional. *shrug*
@reghrhre: looks awesome, I love the icy environment and the palettes look cool too.

Some house graphics from the freeware PC game 'Frogatto':

All of these decorations (one by one) took at least 30 minutes so it took a good while to rip them (I was doing this for about 5 days now). I almost had to "redraw" them pixel-by-pixel after copying from Photoshop because the colors kept messing up (does anybody know a good solution to that problem?).
So yeah, comments are more than welcome.
Wow, Hadron, that's a pretty nice rip, it looks a lot like the original. I'm impressed.

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

The stalagmites and stalactites are alright I suppose, but they don't need to look so identical. What does the BG in for me is how overly pixelated the middle area is. I just stands out too much for my liking, and not in a good way.

Yeah, this is supposed to be an abstract sort-of thing. That heavily pixelated area is supposed to undulate with HDMA sort of like in Earthbound.

I'm not releasing it anyway. I just wanted to know how the actual cave looked. That's where all my effort went.

Some snapshots showing my improved forest tileset and a new temple tileset im working on.

It's- Huba- That's something I- Wow, you have outdone yourself... definitely. I- Words can't describe how good that looks... can't wait to see it in action. However, I would prefer you draw a few smaller 16x16 or maybe 8x16 tiles for the further parts aswell.
I decided to draw something today, after thoughts of going Psuedo 3D, and failed, I decided to stick woth 2D.
So...

That.

It's a cloud/grassland FG.

I will get around to releasing it at some point, along with my RPG stuff.

What do you think?

Very cute looking, I like the palette and clouds infront of the FG give it more of a 'in the sky' feel. The slopes however look a little off but I know how painstaking it can be to get them right.

Slopes are very tricky, yes, that's generally why I only do Steep Slopes, to save the hastle of doing more.
