Originally posted by DeltaDuring the night we'll be able to get more information if our Zelda is still standing. So I'd advise we be careful with the voting, or else we might accidentally vote that role off. No kill.
We have more chance of randomly voting off an anti-town role than voting off Zelda. As a matter of fact, if we count all of the non-first aider town roles as important town roles, there is more chance of randomly voting off an anti-town role than voting off an important town role.
This was argued in a previous game. Yes, the sheriff can be a very useful role to have around. At the same time, however, relying on the sheriff to be the only source of information is often a death warrant for the town. The only time the sheriff is legitimately useful is if the sheriff gets lucky enough to check a mafia member and is able to inform people before he/she is dead.
Even if we aren't voting to kill, a random vote is much more useful than a no-kill vote in gaining information, if only for the fact that someone must defend themselves and this brings some information to light.
I'm getting tired of seeing this argument ignored time and time again - every game, really.
I am not intending to kill here, but I will vote
Rockythetigre, if only to gain more information.
Edit: Oh yeah, additionally, since "The Moon" is around, we only have 3 days to win. Therefore, no-killing is not only not useful, it is also disastrous to our ability to win. If we no kill for even one day, our chances of finding "The Moon" are so unlikely that we will most likely all lose anyway.
