Games (sequels?) that you wish existed

I was sitting around last night playing Okami (that, yes, is my current obsession as far as the gaming world goes), and realized that there were actually several games I wish had a true sequel. I mean, I haven't actually played its DS "sequel", Okamiden, and as wonderful as it looks, it's, well, .. a portable game. Perhaps I'd let that idea go if it was even ported to a real console, but yeah. Conker's Bad Fur Day, which I am sure the majority of you have at least HEARD of (if you haven't, then by all means check it out) was another thing I always wished a sequel would be made for. It was going to happen, but sadly given BFD's ending and whatnot, it didn't really merit a sequel, so people say. If it DID happen, it would most likely end with a suicide and wouldn't continue on. I'd like to see someone take at the opposite, but chances are that's something we won't see for a long time. Another thing I always wanted to see is Sonic Adventure 3 - I loved both of the "predecessors" and they were always my favorite of the Sonic series. The newer Sonic games removed a lot of old characters that, though they were for the most part downright insane (read: all the jewels in the world belong to me), I still kind of miss for reasons unknown to me. I'd like to see a second take at Shadow the Hedgehog as well - this time, however, without worrying about how "mature" the game is. It's obvious the original was trying to be either "cool" with the use of the word "damn" or trying to give a dark air and failing miserably. Not only that, but nobody even dies when you shoot them.

What about you? Are there any games you wished had a sequel, and if so, why?
I just know someone is sick of me saying this, but Conker's bad fur day needs a sequel, all it had was a remake with a mediocre multiplayer compared to the original.

Actually, Rare is making a new Rated M game for the new xbox console, and many people are hoping that it has something to do with this little red squirrel.
I always thought it would be cool to have another Jill game in the DOS game series. Every so often I would fantasize about what the levels would be like if there was a Jill 4. The Jill game trilogy was too easy for me and I did not and still do not have the luxury of a level editor, so I was stuck playing the same levels over and over, and it wasn't even challenging anymore, except for a select few levels (level 9 in Jill 2 and levels 11 and 12 in Jill 3 come to mind).
I also wish there was an official Nintendo sequel to Super Mario World (Yoshi's Island is not a sequel even though it's called SMW 2. It's a prequel. Just because it has '2' in the title does not make it a sequel). I'm thinking of a mission pack sequel, but from Nintendo. I guess Lunar Magic is the closest thing we got.

Jet Force Gemini. it was made under rare for the N64, so it probably won't happen, but the game was so good it deserves a credible sequel...

...even if i still haven't beaten it because of those damn tribals|-O
Later.
Shenmue 3! FFS Sega, we are dying to know what happened after the second game.
I desperately crave a Klonoa 3. Unfortunately, Namco couldn't advertise its way out of a paper bag, so abysmal sales of every entry in the series means it's most likely never going to happen.

Ugh.
I'd like to see another take on Shadow, but this time mocking the shit out of itself and improving gameplay.

Other than that. RISTAR. RISTTTARRRR
I would have to say another Crash Bandicoot game like Twinsanity. Probably my second favourite in the series, after the original of course.
(Oh childhood memories ;_;)

Another game I wanted a sequel for is Luigi's Mansion, I was soooo happy to see it actually happen!
I have a few games for which I'd like to see a sequel, but the one that stands out to me the most is Startropics. With Kid Icarus Uprising coming soon, it will be the only Nintendo original series that hasn't had a sequel in like 15 years or so (there might be other much-lesser series I missed, though). The other game that stands out to me is Kid Chameleon for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. I'm still upset that the hero of that game wasn't in either of the Sega All-Stars games.

there was a sequel to that game on the NES, Mike read a spell from a book and he constantly got sent through time and space. Best thing i remembered in that game was the ability to move diagonally and jump!
999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors
Want to find out if Akane and Santa get imprisoned. Want to find out if Junpei lives the rest of his life looking for Akane and dies alone.

Mario VS Donkey Kong
I mean a true sequel in the original gameplay format as the first two games (Donkey Kong(GB) and Mario VS Donkey Kong(GBA)). The puzzle games are great, but I like the platformer ones even more.

Drawn to Life
I don't care if Mike was in a coma the whole time and finally woke up. He can have more dreams. Millions of dreams. Billions upon Billions of dreams.

Ristar
There are like, 2 Ristar games, I think. Personally, I find the gimmick of Ristar's grab the hell out of everything much more fun than Sonic's run in one direction and jump a bit with the occasional turning around to beat the level.

Megaman Zero
They're fucking Capcom, they'll find a way to milk this series a bit more.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
This game was too short, not enough puzzles. Need more puzzles, longer story.

Yoshi's Island
Yoshi's Island DS was a terrible thing. It ruined what I held dearly as one of my favorite game in my entire life.

Super Princess Peach
That game was pretty fun, needs a sequel.

I thought it was pretty good. But I can see why you wouldn't like it.

Anyways, I would really love to see a true sequel to Chrono Trigger. And I mean, I really want to see Crono come back.
I no longer have interest in SMW Hacking as I did when I first started several years ago.
I always kind of hoped Thousand Year Door would get a true sequel. Super Paper Mario changed the gameplay completely, and Paper Mario 3D just looks so different, and way too gimmicky to be much like 1 and 2.

WHAT IS THIS SECOND ONE YOU SPEAK OF (Or are you talking about the game gear version?)
I would love to see Chrono Break, the sequel to Chrono Trigger (and Cross). Chrono Break was a trademark registered in 2001, and people thought it would mean a new sequel to CT and CC, but the copyright was allowed to expire two years later in the US. The copyright for the Europe will expire in early December this year whilst the copyight in Japan expires late July, 2012.

It's a pity though, I would of loved to have seen another sequel.

^This.

Some other games I can think about is The World ends with you and Mirror's edge. Both were very unique and awesome games and I would love to see a sequel of those.
I'd also like to see a real sequel on the SMB series (in 16-bit style), like Capcom did with megaman (megaman 9 & 10).

Hrm....

Another megaman legends game.

Dark cloud 3.

That's pretty much it. I feel those could be made into competent sequels. Dunno about other games.

Yoshi's Island 2
Secret of Evermore 2
A more tolerable third Donkey Kong game.
A more tolerable third Paper Mario game.
Left 4 Dead 3
That's all I can think of right now.

That would be... Cool, but since Capcom is pretty much refusing to finish it, it's most likely never never gonna happen, sadly. :/

Also Super Paper Mario actually looks kinda fun completely changing the gameplay isn't necessarily a bad thing...
Good fucking bye.
