So ummm... yeah. I'm really sorry about how awful I was as a beta tester. A lot of real life stuff jumped up and got in the way. When I did get some free time, I didn't really feel like writing out a comprehensive report so I'll just give you an overview of what I thought.
In the whole, it's good, but there are a few little niggly things that can bring the whole hack down. The delay between getting hit and dying, how poking your tongue out freezes all momentum, basically most of the issues I have are with the Yoshi patch. I hope you can get most of the issues sorted out, bcause it's all that's stopping your hack from being really good. Aesthetically, it's brilliant by the way.
Oh, here's the start of what was going to be a long written out report before stuff got shit. It points out a few things I noticed in ... maybe the first world and a bit.
Nice intro
Dinosaur Trail:
Seems odd how the dinorhine can jump up through the first groundpoundable blocks.
Another Yoshi issue found, if you groundpound a chuck, you get hit.
Lookalike Plains:
No problems here, enjoyed the intro.
Castle 1:
Had to eat a shell to end boss fight. Then could spit it during cutscene. Pretty amusing though, soI'd leave it in.
Misty Mine:
If you poke your tongue out mid barrel flight, especially heading diagonally, it looks really odd.
Also,you can poke your head out of the barrel by using the tongue grab.
Gaping Chasm:
Noticed here that if you have full capacity of eggs trying to eat something just pulls it towards you for a guaranteed hit.
Maybe disable A as a swimmng button if it's used for egg throwing, as you don't normally jump with it.
