Ok to be honest anime is gay.. They always have big eyes, They always have some random Asian theme song, they look raped most of the time and i think its a waste of time..=P to me anime fails.

Currently struggling to beat Touhou 12
The only anime I watch is Sailor Moon and the first few seasons of Pokemon (The new ones suck- miserably. Stupid Pikachu having the ability to knock out a legendary with a simple thundershock)
I like a lot of Animes, like Bleach, GTO, Case closed, Slam dunk and some others I can't remember right now.

O, and I think the Pokemon series suck. Seriously, the handheld games are Awesome, but the series just FAILS.
I don't watch anime that much, and I have no real favorites, but I like it. I've seen a couple of Studio Ghibli movies: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, etc and they're really good.

Maybe because it comes from Japan?-_________________-
Either way, so does Mario. So live with it >=P

My favorite anime genres are Harem,Ecchi,Romance,Drama, and Comedy.
I don't have many favorite "anime" because I mainly read the manga, but I can say that I enjoyed Girls Bravo.Too bad google removed the episodes off of youtube >=O

I agree that the pokemon anime fails. Not only that, but the directer is probably on drugs or something because it is the most children show I know with the most banned episodes.
The manga with red, blue, yellow(Yes those are their names) and everyone else in the cast of the manga is pretty good though, and has a cool plot.No Ass Ketchup either, but instead, the protagonist of the pokemon games.

I used to watch anime a lot when I was a kid but now, not so much.

My favorite is Full Metal Alchemist and Scryed.
I dislike all other anime.

Mario? wtf? when did i ever talk about mario

I like anime, well theres DBZ, Naruto, bleach and stuff. To bad for bobobo-bobo-bobo which Had the WORST ending. Everyone was there and there was going to be a royal rumble, then right befor the fight with the badest bad guy, they suddenly say,"sorry! We ran out of episodes!."
Then The show ended!

Your on a site soooo royally dedicated to Super Mario World that we spend all our time hacking it, when we could of been getting a girlfriend like I have been working on :P

Yeah, that bo-bo-bo thing was just plain lazy. The creator must of been laughing his ass off!

Oh, I forgot Case Closed (Though I like the Manga better) and Kirby Right Back At Ya!.

Bo-bo-bo scares me. He fights people with his expandable mustache... and has a walking sun as a partner...

And about Pokemon Movies, yes, the new ones are way better than the new episodes. Speaking of which, I forgot to watch the Rise of Darkrai yesterday. Damn it.
I watch anime shows all the time. Here's my list

Yu-Gi-Oh
Hana Yori Dango a.k.a Boys Before Flowers or Boys over Flowers. I like Drama and Manga only. Not Anime
Pokemon
Tokyo Mew Mew
Dinosaur King
Death note
Ceres Celestrial Legend (Manga only)
Great Teacher Onizuka

and possibly Touhou Anime. Alice, Cirno, Marisa, Sakuya, Reimu, and Nitori and my favorites.

If you aren't going to guess by my layout/avatar, you don't deserve to know.

Here's the thing. Listen up and listen carefully, because I believe I'm kind of the odd-man out on the whole anime thing.

I hate animes. Nothing wrong with them for other people, but as for me, I find most of them lame, too similar, and to oriented with "lets hype the bad guy and take 3 episodes for them to fight."

So now, stumbling across a video on the internet of the fairly-famous internet fad, "Hare Hare Yukai/SOS Brigade Dance" I decided to check out where the characters came from and found my catharsis.

Another Haruhiist (the fan base/"neo-religion" for the series) was born. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this anime already: it's HUGELY popular and it's #1 on charts all over as far as animes go: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, or in Japanese, Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu. I began to watch the Englished subbed episodes and decided I was interested. My interest spiked after I learned of the official English dub.

I've come a long way: finishing the only season released (so far) and I'm now reading the light novels that started it all. (Translated, of course.) The anime depends almost 100% on plot, and a VERY good one at that. If it seems corny at first, you should stick around. It's an amazing universe the series is set in, and on top of that, it's very, very, very close to reality. Believable, easily.

As far as anime-stereotypers go, (which remember, I used to be) the "big-eyes" is an art style. American Cartoon characters have huge mouths, noses, and are usually dopey and predictable with "poop" humor running ramped. (And ever since the decline of the Bugs Bunny intelligent humor cartoon era, the characters and cartoons are obnoxious.) Having "Asian music" for an anime theme is natural: we have English themes. Should CSI: change their theme song to another language because it's cliche' to have English?

So in closing of this large post, I'd just like to say: if you are an anime hater, give things a chance if they pique your interest, and anime lovers, check out The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It is, as I like to say, the only anime I consider worth watching. (Or reading, as it were. Some prefer the light novels.) It doesn't have lots of big, drawn out fights with cheesy lines. It does however, have some kick-awesome fights that are well-integrated to the plot. If you want one example, try to find the English video of "Yuki Nagato vs. Ryoko Asakura." The dialogue isn't cheesy "I will destroy you" crap, but it fits the characters. (As they're both Humanoid Interfaces, as they call themselves, or aliens to the layperson.) On top of the balance, there's plenty of humor, and the series has been praised as having the best animation of any anime period by too many places to count. Even the background animation is very well made. Also, my final case for the anime is its originality, especially in the way it is narrated by the character who is dragged into the whole thing, and his sarcastic, witty commentary is matched just like it is in the books.

So if you skipped all that, my answer is: I was converted to Haruhiism, the fan base of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I've converted somebody else. You will... obey Haruhi... ^_^

The "religion" is sort of a joke: Koizumi (if you know who that is) considers the best term to refer to Haruhi with to be a "god." Thus, faithful followers of the series (the fan base, if you will) call themselves Haruhiists. (And there is the famous Haruhiism logo as is shown in my layout that appears at the beginning of the outro, Hare Hare Yukai. (I edited the post to fix what I said. Not only did I leave stuff out, but it came out as poor grammar.)

You should take a crack at the light novels, too, if that would work on a PSP. (I'm not too keen on PSPs, but I assume you could take a picture of a screen of text anyway.)
