Adventure time with Finn and Jake

This show has recently cropped up on Cartoon Network and it's weird. It follows Finn and Jake as they go on adventures and...well...it's hard to explain.
That's the weirdest thing i ever had the chance to watch. It's so weird that it's awesome, and it's so awesome that it's epic.
i just lurk sometimes
After reading this thread I indeed have a clear idea of what this show is about!

I saw the original short when it was viral a few years back, had no idea there was a show! I must watch this! And yeah, it is really hard to explain. Algebraic!

Although I don't typically like American cartoons, this one is really funny. It has the good elements of comedy, wackiness, moral, and decent voice actors. The humor is American, but of a different flavor; it's refreshing. Sometimes I'll see a show my roommate is watching, and I'll be generally disinterested at the humor of the show. Adventure Time is just...well...when a story takes place in the land of "Ooo", you might get an idea. Or not, your call.
Get Chance and Luck!
This and regular show are the only newer things on Cartoon Network that I actually enjoy. Though I like regular show more, This shows just cool with its pretty simplistic style and pretty colors. I'm not sure how to explain what I like most about it, since I rarely get to see it, but whenever it's on I always check it out.

Well, I watched pretty much the whole series, it was pretty sweet, although I was a little disappointed since it wasn't as completely epic and random as the pilot from a few years back was, it is still a pretty great show. We don't actually get cartoon network in Canada though in Teletoon seems to only pick up the crappy shows, I may look into Flapjack and Regular Show now, I like this sort of cartoon.

I saw this show recently on Teletoon, I have to say it's funny, plus with the same weirdness as MM of Flapjack and Chowder. Its something different from the regular cartoons on here thats for sure.

The friend who alerted me to 'My Little Pony, Friendship Is Magic' also brought this show to my attention, it went a little something like this:

It was really weird....but I think I liked it. To be honest it felt a bit trippy and zany...I'll probably get round to watching more this weekend to get a full 'taste' of what the show has to offer. It reminds me of 'The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy' a lot.
If the old shows were still running with cartoon cartoon fridays, this would be one of them...
I watching an episode about Finn and Jake watching some movies, and Jake said something that caught my attention. He mentioned that the movies were from before a "great mushroom war." I reflected on this for a second, put two and two together, and I was like, "Whooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..."

I used to put Regular Show a few tiers above Adventure Time, but since then, I'd consider them about equals now, and I definitely need to pay more attention to Adventure Time.

Also DDM295, Your friend stinks!
He doesn't even realize how much older adventure Time is than My Little Pony.

And Ooroo, Yes, it does give that feel a bit, but something about it is very, VERY, different, I cant put my finger on it but I can say that it is different in a good way.
Yes Quizler. It is probably the jokes in it IMO. The jokes were no funnier than some of the old cartoons, but I'd just say this desevred to be in the line up if there was one still...
I did want to show THE BEST CLIP IVE EVER SEEN
This cartoon is one of the few I still watch and there's is a reason for that. So many goddamn subtle jokes that cater to the older audience. This and Regular Show gave me reason to tune back into Cartoon Network again.
FREE EARL
I Sorta/Kina like Adventure Time a bit, but everything about it is wierd!
Theres only 1 human named "Finn" in the show, wonder how he got there
A stretchy dog named "Jake"
Bubble Gum Princess?
Well The humor is funny, but most plot of an episode make no sense to me
The show is mean't for "Tweens" ( Kids age 12 - 14)

Regular is the only thing I watch on Cartoon Network, including MAD (there should be a forum for MAD) :)
Actually millieman76, there's a reason behind why Finn is the only human on the show. Throughout the first two seasons we learn that apparently there was a great war in the world. The characters in the show just refer to it as the "Great Mushroom War". While the Land of Ooo may seem pretty, it's actually a post-apocalyptic world.
I love this show, even more when I'm baked.
Truly a modern masterpeice and it stands out in the oceans of crap airing currently.
This is one of the greatest shows, I have to say. But, I still want to know why Penn was changed to Finn and when did Rainicorn speak Japanese, I thought it was just babbles of O's? I like the voice actors/actresses of the show. Hynden Walch - Bubble Gum Princess, which also voice acts Starfire from Teen Titans. John DiMaggio - Jake the dog, also Bender from Futurama.

This show is just awesome. It's really funny and everything is so absurd and weird, and that makes it epic. Also, Link13, Rainicorn doesn't speak japanese, it's korean.

to hear birds and see none.
I've watched one episode and it reminded me of webcomics.

It's like a clean, animated version of perry bible fellowship or something.
