A user PM'd me to ask if the game should be closed and Cased once it hits 300 pages, and I agree. The 'owner' of the game is inactive, 300 pages is a pretty big number, and a fresh start (with more comprehensive rules) would do the game good.
Those... are the worst reasons I've ever,
ever seen.
Mafia is a game that can be hosted by whoever, and it has been done by several people like that for ages.
That 300 pages is a "pretty big number" is cool and all, but why should anyone care?
Just let the game go on, it isn't doing anybody harm and would be much easier, there is no forum rule saying that a thread can't be that big, too, is there?
And about the "more comprehensive rules".. why can't those just be included in the post when the next game starts? I mean seriously, who does ever look at the first post of this thread? In my humble opinion, doing that wouldn't do the game any good.
Whoever that user was, I'm pretty sure of that, just annoyed by nobody playing this game any more, and wanted some attention for it. But to be honest, a 300 page long, stickied thread with a well-known game is far more likely to attract more players than a 2 pages long stickied thread.
I'll tell Kadyastar to look at this post instead of sending it in a PM, bleh :v
