Resource Requests (GFX/Music/Coding)

While we have provided you with several songs and graphics to choose from for your level, there may be complications. For instance, you may find a great use for one of the base ROM's graphical sets, but none of the songs seem to fit for it. Try your best to use the provided resources, but if absolutely none work, use this thread to request a graphical set/music track.

Please, if you plan on requesting something, try to either:

-show a screenshot of the FG (if you're requesting a BG)
-show a screenshot of the BG (if you're requesting an FG)
-at the very least, provide a detailed description of what you need (graphical set/song), the mood of your level, etc.

You may also request sprites or ASM here as well. This thread has some great original enemies, so if you want to use one of them in your level, make a note of it here and a coder will likely pick it up.

TO THOSE DRAWING GRAPHICS:

FirePhoenix Edit (2/24/11): If you are drawing tilesets for this hack, please follow the following palette guidelines:

Backgrounds should use palettes 0 and 1. Since we are using a custom sprite status bar in this hack, the old status bar colors can be overwritten with no fear.

Foregrounds should use palettes 2 and 3. If you're making tiles that fit the original game's Map16, they are still using palette 2. If you're making a supplementary gfx file, I recommend using palette 3.

Palette 4 can be used by both the foregrounds and background as an "extra" palette row in case your FG/BG needs a little more color.

If elements of your set fit the global palettes located on rows 5, 6, and 7, feel free to use them, there is no restriction on this.

Hopefully this will help organize our palette row and map16 usage. Thank you for following this format.
Heyo, I'm making a carnival level, and all the carnival tracks are too downbeat for my needs. I'm making a roller coaster, so I need something pretty fast for it to make sense, so I need a more upbeat carnival theme. Mhm.
For my level I would like a FG somewhat similar to this. It needs to slopes, rocks, and bones in the sand like the one linked.

As for a BG, as long as it has some sand dunes and/or some pyramids then I don't care how it looks.

Thanks to whoever fulfills my request.

Edit: Only need BG.

Extras

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

Advertising Space

K3nny: Foop actually released that one (at least partially) for SMWCP2, so you're free to just use that one.

I need a tileset for my Reef Fortress. My idea was simply a revamped version of the SMW castle tileset. Thanks. :P

Pheonix told me to let you know he's drawing a BG for your castle. Maybe he'll draw an FG as well. You should PM him.
I'd need a background that fits this foreground:

No real specifications other than that, except that it should be of a dark blue colour.
Your layout has been removed.
I'll need a dark, mysterious city/metropolis set for my Abstract/Dream level. If you can, give it a purple tint.
I need a simple space-y background with stars and the like. I'd love whoever did this if it animates.
I need a beach polluted with oil, with some barrels and pipelines and oil 'lakes'
I need a mountain/sky type of FG for the entrance of the Sky Castle.

Could this work? It's ready to use with edit's bg ripper, uses only 8 colors, a page and a half of 8x8 and half a page of Map16. I could probably optimize it a bit more at the cost of some detail.

...and with the foreground as an example.
Haha, I like that Lucas. It looks kind of abstract, but at the same time super fitting for that underwater level (and others too, perhaps).

I'd like to claim this request!
Check out my music!
That was quite the fast delivery, thank you very much!
Now I just gotta re-learn the ripper and I'll be set.

I need both a BG and FG for a sandy cave- preferably but not required to have two variations, one with just a little sand and one with some more sand, to indicate getting closer to the beach area (I have the World 4 lead-in from the caves). The FG could just be any generic cave background, maybe with some sand in the cracks between the rocks or something. Not gonna be very specific. It would be appreciated a buttload, thanks in advance to whoever does it~!
I would like a skyscraper FG tileset, one that mixes fairly well with the vanilla cloud and cave tilesets. I would like both interior and exterior, and I don't care if it takes one or two GFX files.

I also want a BG that involves a somewhat flat cloudscape with a few skyscrapers poking through the flatness.
I'd like a factory type BG and FG, preferably based on SMW graphics. I've got a picture showing what I've included so far:

aran - Graces of Heaven
I need a background that goes with the same foreground that leod has please.

This foreground:

You could use the BG that Lucas drew for leod (listed a few posts above). It might help with consistency, at least.
