N-SPC Patch

Can someone explain me what's the N-SPC Patch for musics cause there's some music that doesn't work and its said in description N-SPC Patch required.
N-SPC is an SNES music format that lets you utilize things such as volume sliding, pitch bending, ADSR, and many other commands.

You can insert it by adding -se to the end of your cmd line just before you insert your music, which, you would type:

Code
addmusic.exe romname.smc -se

You only have to do this once, and I recommend doing it with HuFlungDu's AddMusic, as HFD's AM also supports songs that use $E5.
I dont know where download the HuFlungDu's addmusic(I already looked in the tools section) but with the addmusic I already have I tried to add the -se after the rom's name but it juste doesn't work
Righto. It was in moderation. Here is the recommended AddMusic. Also...

You've already tried doing this?
Can I do that think with all addmusic programs cause I think the addmusic I use is easier to use than this one

Though you could, they are sub par to HFD's AddMusic. Also, what could be easier than typing "addmusic.exe romname.smc -se" in command prompt?
When I open this addmusic it directly close,I dont konw why.

Grab a copy of cmd.exe and place it in addmusic's folder. Run it through that copy of cmd you just made.

DO NOT MOVE IT, COPY IT.
I try that, but it say "Sound Effect can't be edited. WHAT GOING ON???????!!!!!!

Use this for future music/se insertion. Also, post the contents within your AddMusic.ini file. It would help me find the pinpoint to your problem.
You want to find cmd.exe on your computer, copy that file and put it in your addmusic folder. DO NOT MOVE IT! Put your ROM in the folder as well. Open cmd.exe type in addmusic.exe romname.smc -se and hit enter. That will insert MORE.bin.

You put the level songs in the LEVEL folder and overworld songs in the OW folder. After you do that, open Addmusic.ini and on an open slot under [LEVEL] or [OW], type in songname.txt . Save that file and close it. Open cmd.exe and type in addmusic.exe romname.smc and it will insert the music

Open Lunar Magic and change the music to whatever slot you put in Addmusic.ini.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
I trying to press y, and then it said "sound effect can't be edit"
WHAT GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????
Whenever I add the "-se" thing to the end of the prompt my checksum goes bad and the game turns unplayable. Is there any way to fix this?

And another problem is that when I insert ANY music, the level I assigned the custom music to is absolutely silent.

I hate to demand answers, but does anyone know how to fix either of these errors?
I don't know any of this.
Nice bump dude, posting in a 9 months old thread. Also are you doing it like this?: Addmusic.exe [insertromnames].smc -se
