you grab throw block #1 and shoot it through the red block on the right and releasing the path for mario. Now get throw block #2, kill the thwamp with it, and kit the second turn block thous releasing the path for yoshy and mario. Just a guess....

Looks like Mario finally got his driver's license! Also, before this, I did something with the other invisible Yoshi glitch that I have not seen before in any hack (you're not allowed to spin jump).

my guess was make two yoshis, grab a throw block on real yoshi to make him run in the pit, while he does this jump on invisible yoshi and land on the ground. real yoshi despawns, and invisible yoshi spawns under you causing you to fall through the floor. jump off him to get past turn blocks. if you really want you can first drop a turn block through the light switch things, and use it to duplicate the turn blocks then duplicate the yoshi block for another yoshi.

I'm actually thinking about applying the block duplication fix patch to this hack and changing the bits that required you to use that glitch. I'm actually not that satisfied with the glitch either, especially after seeing that TAS of Super Puzzle World 3. This move would allow more flexibility in level design and prevent some breaks I didn't catch. If I use the counter-break in addition, there's no need for a no Yoshi intro for the next stage, and also, the player couldn't break future levels by acquiring two power-ups and allowing time to run out, keeping the item in the reserve box (that is possible, right?).

The last level is nowhere near finished and I don't have a lot of ideas, but I'll get more inspiration. Maybe it wouldn't have been a bad idea to make the last level first.

That is one amazing stage, man. Some parts could be improved, you have a few open area's that could be made more interesting or even more intense but the creativity hits the roof. Awsome job!

Looks like I've hit another roadblock. I want to apply the block duplication fix, but when I tried it on a backup (after inserting custom music using Huflungdu's AddMusic) it caused this graphical glitch:

This was after hitting the silver P. When I scroll that area off-screen, it goes back to normal when I get back.

I'm not exactly sure what happened. Possibly a glitch with conflicting patches, but its likely not a problem with AddMusic unless you used two different AddMusics.

Also, instead of using a patch, I recomend placing the code into LevelASM. That way, if you every want to use the glitch, you can just not use the code in that level.

Actually messing with the FG/BG settings seemed to get rid of that graphical glitch. ASM sounds scary. And I decided I don't want to use that glitch (block cloning, I mean) anymore, which means changing portions of a couple of the levels so that duplication is no longer required.

It sounds scary but if you've had any experience in programming at all, it's not too difficult. Once you get around the weird fucking syntax and that.

Plus in levelASM you're just reposting code that other people have, 90 percent of the time. I just need to figure out the proper way to insert said code...

Just to prove I haven't totally stopped working on this, here's a preview of the last level.
This is very much beta. I realize there was no point in keeping the mushroom, so right before the shell-jump I'll add death blocks as well as fix the camera positions. Right now I have some of the level laid out, but it's a mess. At one point will be a series of rooms with strict time limits inspired by God Insane from Springboards and Shells, but not quite as difficult, and it shall not be a copy. I'm not absolutely sure how to end the level tho.

Music is WBIMW Biomecha. It's a shame that I cut the movie a little short because I wanted to hear that last bit. Also, it's one of those levels where the music changes partway thru the level, and one of the music tracks I picked would give you nightmares if you played this blind in a dark room at night!

Another stinkin download that includes all finished levels up to this point.
I was originally gonna do this after the last level, but I decided I didn't want people to be teased by videos of new levels that they can't play yet, so here. I don't like releasing too many demos, and I realize 2 may be pushing it for a nine level Kaizo. I dunno. I changed some things around so hopefully it doesn't feel like a ground hog day loop (level 3 received the most changes). I also had to edit the end of the switch palace because it was sometimes unwinnable. I am still working on Mister Chuck tho.
My next Kaizo hack will probably be released all at once, not even a demo.

EDIT: I messed up. I just found that I forgot to change an entrance location in one of the levels. It may or may not be the same link, but the problem is fixed now. New Download.

I hate working on two hacks at once, but fortunately it usually happens when I'm almost done with one of them.

The basic idea is that you have to wait for the mole to fall partly down, and then scroll the screen to the right and quickly jump over the gap, making sure the mole goes offscreen before the disco Koopa kills it, and then at some point respawn the mole and ride it underneath the invisible noteblocks to the next area. Whoops, I just realized this screenshot is impossible because the mole falls down before you can get up.

You might not be able to see it clearly, but the stars spell out the initials of this hack's name. This is also one of the latter areas of the level. And this part is autoscrolling. This area plays some Phoenix Wright music.

This is the part that plays the aforementioned scary sounding music. And no, you're not required to use the Hammer Brother/lava glitch. You're gonna have to do something more crazy than that here, and it involves the berry.
