Yep. The background was hell to rip though... such a simple pattern, but it takes up a whole palette row.

Now complete with picture of random old guy found in the original game's level. Just some minor tweaks to the outside graphics, and I'll add this and the outside graphics to Mario End Game in good time.

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.
Good GFX cheat-master. I haven't heard any comments regarding the Yogi Bear tileset. I've got Earthworm Jim BG2 and BG3 working together. Video link below:

Comments? FG may be ripped and released as well.

It looks nice, but the issue is, what graphics slots does it use? Because the real issue with much of what you rip is that it looks great, but is impractically difficult to use due to requiring layer 3 and that ExGFX patch.

Hmm, yeah. Those that I rip are pretty hard to put into the level 100% right, but I'm still still goin' to submit them, in case it is really necessary.

Yeah. Although I don't know if you can submit them, the rules said something about no ExGFX submissions requiring rearrangement patches a while back. That may have changed though.

What I do find interesting though is how your work uses so many graphics files and palettes, yet graphics from way modern games (like my Wario Land 4 GfX) doesn't. It makes sense if they're from a hard to rip, pre rendered game series like Donkey Kong Country, but considering even completely ripped from the DS New Super Mario Bros graphics have been used in hacks, full palettes and all, I still don't see what's using so much space.

Well, most of them end up consuming that much.
Bad news: I ripped the FG, but the problem is that it's a really hard task to assemble it. I'll stop and go to a different one. And if someone could find a FG that suits just as well for the Earthworm Jim BG2 and 3, then please PM me.
Good news: Submitted the Yogi Bear factory tileset: http://bin.smwcentral.net/42532/Yogi%20Bear%20Factory%20tileset.zip

To insert the layer 3 tilemap, have genericuploader.asm appied and then
add to the Leveltable:
dw $0106 : dw $5000 : dw $0122
Awesome new ripped foreground (Curious Factory from Wario Land 4):

Nearly done. Just needs some random machines, another kind of metal block, some other platforms and some tiling + windows for the foreground area with the weird metal floor and beams.

yczedit: table-stretching images should be linked

Knytt Stories - Orange Grass

Oh, I've always wanted to see what Kyntt Stories graphics would be like in SMW. They work well. I recall them being 24x24, so nice job resizing and stuff.
Your layout has been removed.
A background I am working on.

That background smell like Dark Matter zone
Well, I finally decided to make another background. I'm very thankful too, I needed a custom swamp. Yet another background to add to "The Furnace Mishap!"

I'm ripping some Seikeb Densetsu 3 graphics:

They're a bit bland, but near exactly as in the original game. Both from the Mirage Palace, because hey, I thought I might as well rip everything carol didn't.

Whatever background you add zooms by behind the windows too...

Giant Dry Bones Graphics. This will be a boss in my hack, graphics are still WIP (still need to draw the rest of his body, arms and legs). I may get him to animate if I have enough graphics space.

Both are ingame screenshots, layer with mario was turned off (the darker palette is the one that will be used), his eyes will be shifted down so he's looking down at mario.

Please give feedback, I'd like to know if anything needs to be fixed (unless you think it's fine as is).

DF: Amazing as always again. Your tilesets look very professional and perfectly drawn. I love the use of the original SMW elements put in the ground as decoration. Lovin' it, keep it up :>
Dp29 - Awesome Bro, I loved the original dry bones boss but that pic kicks butt! How did u make the shading so awesome, the dark one looks awesome, can`t wait to see the gameplay.
