Running into problems, i want to switch to btsd, but that would require me to reinsert all 300 odd blocks from blocktool, and then check the map16 values for all the blocks in my hack. and then i'd have to reinsert them. Argggh! Is there a faster way to do this?
You might want to use Block Tool to BTSD Blocks Pak.

I have Exgfx loaded, but the yoshi coin is messed up. Can I fix this?

maybe you'll need to check the tiles it uses, it could be overwrited with the ExGFX you used...

Edit: well I have a question, why the coins are disappearing on my level?????

I noticed that the exgfx tileset pasted over where the yoshi coin is. And if I choose to use it, the Yoshi coin and other objects become messed up. When I loaded the Map16&Map16g Bins, I chose page three in the Map 16 editor. Is there a way to remove them from there and make sure to paste it somewhere else. Or, if I start all over to not make the same mistake, because I would like to be able to use the Yoshi coin

This is mainly related to the Multipal Midways Patch, but it probably can cover other things as well.

I know if you use the same memory space for more than one patch, you'll brick your copy of SMW. However, is possible to apply a patch, change certain values in it, and re-apply it, without the game breaking?
Yes, that works fine (assuming the freespace you used is still large enough). We've got plenty of users here who keep applying LevelASM many times on the same ROM.

One more: Which GFX file is the text used in message boxes in?

i've been thinking. Kaizoman666 played a romhack where pressing the on/off switch resulted in a certain switch palace being flipped. If anyone knows a block or patch that could be used in every level that would do that, i can think of so many puzzles and extremely EVIL traps i could make, so i would love someone to give me a block that flips the screen upside down. Credit will be given in, well, the credits. If you don't know what i'm talking about, this is the level: Click Me, please! Speediness will earn you a special thanks at the beginning of the credits, as well as a thank you in a message block in the romhack! even code and instructions on how to use it would be nice. If someone made it available, drop me a link to it!
Is it possible to make the small mario cover the same area as big mario? And if so, how?
How do you copy a finished level to another level? I would like to copy a level I have already finished, so I can continue with similar graphix, and it would save me time if I could just copy one to the other.

Thank You.

Two ways.
Option one:
1. click file
2. click save level to file as
3. type name
4. press save
5. go to your new level.
6. click file
7. click open level from file
8. find filename
9. click open
10. save
option 2:
1. click file
2. click save level to rom
3. type the level you want to copy it to in level to save as
4. click save
5. edit the level in the level you've copied it to.
option 1 creates a backup file, while option 2 doesn't.

Yes, change addresses 1B87C, 6D79, and B6C0 to "A9 01" in a hex editor.
Edit: My postcount went up by 1!
How can I make an ips. file?
Steam: controversialbread
With Lunar IPS.

Or, if you have Lunar Magic 1.8 or higher, File>Restore>Create IPS file for this ROM.

Note: You'll need a copy of the clean SMW ROM

Thanks. I didn't want to get a 72-hour ban because it was rom.

Option two is what I need. Thank you buddy, this is going to save me a lot of time!

Feeling ignored, so i'm reposting
How does one add rain/snow, and lightning? Help with finding sound effects such as thunder and blowing wind would be great.

Thank you.

You'll need to use a lightning generator. As for the snow/rain, you can use a layer 1 or 2 for making an exanimated rain/snow. Either that or use this cluster sprite and base your snow/rain on it.
