Something about your cloud submap bugs me. It seems too boring for some reason .. there's just not a lot going on in it. Meh.

Uh, your graphic swaps are looking great. I love the Duck Tales one, you really fit a lot of detail into a 16x32 space. Your levels seem like they would be interesting to play too, which is great.

Yeah. Just improve your overworld editing skills, and you have a nice hack coming along.

It is only the beginning, in the next levels, the bonus rooms will be more and more hard to find (in the mushroom house on the map, Toad will give some indications to find them)
The 1st demo, he it has 4 levels (thus 1 world), I hope that that will please you.

Yes. Same thing did happend for me.
The second level is physicaly impossible(well, for me it is)
the part with the slope and you have to slide then jump onto the yellow pipe is to hard for a second level, you may be able to do it but that doesn't mean others can (like me) on the next release put that part in a later level and the pipe shorter. But great graphics by the way!

Thank you for your answers. But I forgot to ask if you tried the IPS or the ROM directly. :P

As for the second level, a tip can be found by watching one of BOBO's early footages (see first pages of the topic). Unless there are some other glitches we didn't notice.
I did use the patch.... Wait was there a ROM with this?
Well, we finally figured out that the IPS patch caused the bug!
Once you arrive to the castle level, an instant death happens as soon as the level appears, not letting you the time to do anything.
When we took the patch BOBO's made and tried to apply it on a SMW American ROM, we discovered that some level entrances were inexplicably moved.

But, if you download the ROM version of his hack (are links to ROM files allowed here? I don't have the time to read the rules, sorry), this problem is absent. I'm recalling the link which was posted a few posts above: [Removed by myself for obvious reasons]

EDIT: I'm just realizing now what people meant with the second slope in the second level (keep in mind I'm not the author of this hack, only an assistant in its making). This is because it requires an awful lot of timing to achieve the right jump at the right moment. BOBO is just doing that so naturally that he didn't realize it when designing this part of the level.

Of course, being a true Mario sucker myself, I'm hardly able to reproduce that even by juming at the exact same moment. I didn't mention that you had to slide down the slope first in order to succeed (edit: lol, I finally did it, you don't have to press right when you jump, but you have to maintain the accelerator pushed on when sliding).

OK, thank you for the info (BOBO will know it from now, too). I finally managed to make a working IPS patch myself (well sort of, I think).

I included a "clean ROM" version too, in doubt (must IPS be made from a clea ROM?). There should be no more instant death at Green Hill Castle now.
There's your problem, Ips patches must be made from clean ROMs.
Respect, its a really good hack.
But one question: How Can I defeat the Boss in the first castle?
Or is that ipossible because it´s a Demo?

Edit: I found my failure, i took a Shell of a green Turtle through the Tube to the Boss,then the Boss is invisible and buggy. :)

Well, I'm bumping this old thread because there had been a slight misunderstanding about a hack called "The adventures of Sando and Wakoo". The author of that hack IS the author of "Alex Kidd in Pancake World".

I think Lunartoad naivly thought he would be recognized under his other alias, BOBO (which was not the case :P).

Of course, I don't think this will arrange his case here (especially with SMW exigences) but I had no choice since I didn't find any post-hack-deletion discussion topic here and it appears to be no search function either.
I feel sorry if I did something wrong as this was not my intention and because I only come here once in a while.
But "The adventures of Sando and Wakoo" felt like a really bad hack of "Alex Kidd in Pancake World"! =/
