General Anime Discussion

I've recently started to watch Tokyo Mew Mew, and I gotta say, I love it.
Also watching Yu-Gi-Oh again for some reason :/
And I'm planning on watching 2 others: "This Ugly yet Beautifull world" and "Deathnote" (Don't know why I've never watched that one before :/

SMWHacking? I rest my case.
SMWCentral? I leave it to rest.

I just finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist, and all I can say is.. wow...

The unfortunate thing is that I can't really say anything without spoiling it for any future watchers...

damn...
Did you watch the movie as well? If not you should because it just leaves even more unanswered questions because they love you like that.
There is a movie?!?!

Holy shit...

*Goes to watch*

I started watching Code Geass today. I can tell from the first five minutes that it's going to suck.

Code Geass is good but it's not the best. Some of the storyline seems to be lazily put together. I mean, it has awesome fights and a good storyline, plot twists and such, but it gets ridiculous when the artist relied on anticipation to explain everything.

I mean I was head tilting when Lelouch was talking to his brother (?) and the whole thing was pre-recorded with his brother thinking it was a live feed. No one is that good at anticipation they can respond to questions they don't even know are going to be asked. |B|
Angel Beats! second season apparently confirmed.

There is just jizz everywhere around me.

I'm assuming that the story will be following up on everyone's new lives in the real world. Also I'm just waiting for more Shiina.

The fact that it won't be out for a quarter of a year though is extremely depressing.

I wonder if Teyandee's ever going to get a DVD release. The ES Goukin display last August gave me some hope, but there's been no news at all since then...
Everyone watch Konjiki no Gash Bell because it's very melon!

Oh hey, I remember that series! It was called Zatch Bell in the English dub, I used to love watching it. It's funny how I just recently remembered it only to find a link to an animation of that scene :3

Good anime, I'll have to watch it again sometime soon.
Follow me on Hermitscape for random bits of game design talk and pixel art, or even request something for me to draw.

Sora no otoshimono forte ended... I am sad. But a movie trailer was at the end of the episode unless it was a spoof, but still, I recomend this anime to anyone who likes comedies, it was absoloutly brilliant from start to finish :)

1st season : Sora no otoshimono pg13
2nd season : Sora no otoshimono Forte pg13

It's quite fanservice-y so I don't recomend you watch it if you don't like that sorta thing.

So, I am watching Soul Eater, and I had a thought, in the Japanese version, Chrona is strictly female, yet in the American dub, Chrona is male, so... wtf? What gender is it?
I believe that's left to the viewer to decide as it was never stated anywhere in the show what gender Chrona is.

Though personally I see Chrona as a female.
I recall in the sub, Maka refers to Crona as either "him" or "her" at some point near the end of it. Can't remember for the life of me which it was, though ...

I see Crona as a female too.
Finally finished watching Soul Eater...

I thought the ending was kinda weak.
Yosuga no Sora

The story is set in the distant mountain village of Okukozome-chou. Haruka Kazugano and his twin sister Sora have fond childhood memories of going to the village to visit their grandfather during their summer vacations. However, after losing their parents in an accident, the two must move in with their grandfather.

The twins get reacquainted with their old childhood friend Nao Yorihime, their new classmate Ryouhei Nakazato, the shrine maiden Akira Amatsume, and Akira's friend Kazuha Migawa. All seems peaceful and familiar. However, beneath the surface is a secret promise that the twins made with each other long ago, the whereabouts of an important lost item, and the real reason they chose to come back here.

Can't believe I have finished the entire anime.

Basically the whole show is divided into three or four arcs, depending on how you view it. Our main character Haruka falls into love with a girl, it drags on for three episodes and in the end they have sex. Sounds simple, is simple. Except for one thing which makes the whole story kind of twisted: Our heroine Sora, Haru's sister, is in love with her brother. Which makes the last arc kind of sick. I guess you can think of the rest yourself.

Overall, it was an interesting experience. Not sure if I would recommend it to anybody, but if you're interested, check it out or something.

e: In retrospect, I notice that I'm really not fit for describing and such. Blargh.
Has anyone seen the Angel Beats DVD special yet?
I just finished it and I think it takes place between episodes 5-6 but I'm not certain yet.
