Gurren Lagann

I just finished watching Gurren Lagann. It's the most amazing anime I've ever watched, and one of the best mecha anime ever. If you haven't watched it, you should. It's moderately short but has a fuckton of story development packed into it. It's awesome.

ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER

I watched the entire series on the Sci-Fi channel a couple years ago before I knew the wonder of watching anime online (The English dub was very good actually, it kept a lot of the emotion in the dialogue that was present in the original). I remember it being very fast paced, and rarely did the series stay in one place for long.

I really should watch the original Japanese version fully sometime...
Follow me on Hermitscape for random bits of game design talk and pixel art, or even request something for me to draw.

After having heard a lot of positive feedback about this anime, I decided to watch it some time ago.
And I must admit it was very awesome and I quckly got addicted to it... Untill season two started that is. Without the humour that made the fist season great it became bearly bearable, and after whaching the first episode of season 3 I got compleatly sick of it =/
Oh well, at least the first 13 or so episodes were fun I guess ^_^l|l

The second half drops a lot of the humor, but it gets really actiony and epic. It's a shame you didn't watch until the end, the last few episodes are the best part

The second half simply answers the questions that weren't answered during the beginning when they only just made it to the surface. I mean, I remember when I watched Gurren Lagann in like March that I was questioning why humans were driven underground in the first place.

Also yeah the last few episodes are pretty epic. Throwing planets at each other has never been so cool.

Fixed

I've never got to watch the whole thing, considering school started in the middle of it and I needed to get some sleep '^.^. The last part that I can remember is that the little guy's brother died...After that, school started.
waiting for SMWC2 to come out since 1995

totally not a plot-breaking spoiler
