Yoshi's Mission (Could something be working in my favor for once?)

Nice job with the BG for the kid hut, but I'd add windows between the pillars, just for the sake of variety in the BG.

That level feels more like a tutorial level rather than a real level. It's probably just because there are tutorial messages in them, along with the fact that the level is really short. And, yeah, remove the noteblock part, they never do any good for the hack or the hacker/player.

Regarding the note blocks: I will take those out. I was lazy at that part.

And yes, the whole first world should feel like a tutorial. Like the third level will explain some of your abilities.

Regarding the munchers: They're mostly for decoration here. You don't even have to worry about most of them, really.
Random question. Are you making it so Mario lands on Yoshi at the start of the level and can't dismount? Wouldn't it be easier to use WYE's play as Yoshi patch?

I AM using that patch. But that's kind of how the patch works. Or... I've seemed to notice that.
personally I think the grass does look a little bland, there's a lot of cement blocks, (replace with ground or YI blocks) and I think some more grassy-ground segments would be nice.

Also those teleporters are somewhat confusing.

Well, I'm not very impressed by that level moltensnow. I'll give you some advices:

- Insert HDMA to the BG (learn how to do it eventually).
- I prefer custom palettes. I mean the BG in this case.
- Don't use cement blocks that much, try to find other alternatives.
- The same thing goes with the munchers, try to make some YI-styled GFX for them.
- Add coins and miscs.
- Make more decorations and depth in the grass FG, its very flat and linear now.
- The black outlines to prevent cutoff on the ropes is not "most wanted" alternative, at least not abuse it.
- The teleport GFX could been better and it could be placed where it make more sense.
- Work a bit more on player GFX, yoshi is missing some nails on his back.
- Maybe its just me, but I think the "Atlethic" track from YI would suit more in this level.

This is only meant as help, notice that. You'll probably give me these molten points for this post, I'm sorry if so.

No, no. I don't hate you for that. That stuff is really helpful. I like when people give specific examples instead of "Too bland". So, thanks for that. :)
hmm. The level seems a little 'generic' to me. I think you could improve on the use of teleporters in the level as they seem gimmicky at the moment.
Just a nitpick, but the 'star room' as used in Mario's Epic Adventure is somewhat akward. I would put the star in the actual level.
I agree with Uhrix that the level needs the Yoshi's Island Athletic Music.

Critism aside, this is a good level which is definatly better than your earlier levels.
I don't think that level was too bad in perticular, but you could improve it by adding hdma gradients or adding more detail to the FG.

-I can do HDMA, I was just wondering whether or not I should add it, since it might be strange. But I will.
-Ok. I can tweak the palette.
-Cement blocks are as underused as they can be, actually. That's because they are a complete square, so they prevent cutoff that would occur if I used grass instead.
-I'll definitely be redrawing some GFX soon. Munchers will have different GFX.
-Remember, it's just a rough draft right now, I'm working stuff out.

-I'm not sure why, I just got bored and wanted to insert teleport blocks. They won't be used very often, though.
-I used this, so there's not much I can do. The part where the spikes are on his head are too close the edge of the 16x16 tile.

Uh... you DO realize that would mean inserting that ExGFX file into every level, AND copying the ExAnimation, right? That's a lot more work than it's worth, to be honest.

Your graphics are awesome, the only thing bugging me is that, well, we need an EASIER level, sure, it is easy, but, it has munchers, which I don't recommend having in the real first level, I recommend them around the thiird level, and if you are gonna put munchers in your first level, make new graphics, and only a few.
It's weird you have inclusive pronouns, but still only have the binary options for gender. Where is Non-Binary, Agender, etc? Not a gripe. Just curious lmao.
Luigiskingdom: The level looks fine for a first world level. The orignal YI W-2 was alot harder due to chomps trying to crush you so moltens level is alright.

Molten: As others have said to improve on things like linear levels and GFX issues I would say try to use a different FG, The grass one looks abit to simple. Also the teleporters dont fit in with a YI hack IMO.
I can agree with 1updudes there, the FG still seems a little too simple.

The FG is way too simple, even with the flowers. Why don't you just use the original YI Grassland FG? Sure, it's over-used, but this is a YI-based hack for pete's-sake, nobody will care! (Or at least, I won't...)

It's not that hard. SMW was too easy, so I believe hacks should have the difficulty of Bowser Valley in the original SMW in the first world.

I'd prefer to use GFX I made. The YI Grassland is too overused and the Map16 attributes is wacky.
When Yoshi eats the green shell, his head looked a bit odd. Like it didn't really fit the body. But other than that the game looks really well made for a rough draft.
