well, first off, little spin jumps isnt pit. make them one tiled angled gaps like the ones i have in my ludicrous mario world level 4. they are much harder, and possible without sprinting speed. and note, the higher up you make them, with less room for speed the harder. also, you can keep the key by doing a low key jump instead of a wall jump.

Wewt Just finished my hack x-KAIZO Ex-x

Difficulty - Depends :P Hard / Very hard (not pit standard!)

Graphics - i made my own GFX sum EXGFX and Changed many palettes :D

Legth - 4 Levels with a Boo boss

its getting there, but you know, you can make a one tiled angle gap at the end where you did a key jump :P

better... but a few things to take into consideration. first off, if its pit, everything should be as hard as possible. believe me, i dreaded beta testing my ludicrous mario world level 4. it took me about 6 hours over all to finish play testing the level, and that is not counting editing parts (I also would move the start position to newer areas. thus, you not being able to pull off a jump isnt acceptable. just keep trying. next, the three tiled gap of on off blocks near the beginning should be only two tiles. the gaps between the death blocks at the disco shell part should be 1 tile. and with the items, make them harder to get, like put one in between to munchers or something. lastly, all the walls should be death block walls to prevent wall jumps and to make it harder.

Looks good so far! It seems like you can move the exit pipe at the bullet bill segment a tile or two to the left without making the level too hard, but I really like it thus far!

Some minor notes/questions:


1:36; since you inserted the vine as a sprite, won't it simply respawn if Mario decides to go back down again? If it does that would break the entire section as you could repeatedly go down and do the section part by part rather than having to go through it at the speed of the vine.
2:12: Is there any particular reason why you collected/placed some coins? I assume the screenscrolling had to do with a deathtrap.

I can safetly say that, that IS pit difficulty.
On the standards of pit that is equivalent to WoT (which is a pit hack) all youd need to do is make that scrolling "slow" and it would be perfect :)

ALSO! whhile i was working in my secret lair I made changes to a level in Dedede kaizo that i'd like to ask your opinions on. (?)

I tried to make it as creative as possible so please give me some feedback i can work with :)

Yeh thats really good but the one problem with that level is that theres no way you would be able to know what to do, other words its not very straight forward. ecspecially the bit with 2 spring boards and the block duplicator glitch...

Im just saying, Mabey im just to dumb for puzzles. but still very well made and entertaing to watch :D

@ kaizo-ash - well if he keeps it how it is you wouldnt need to because it could easily be broken :P

the idea of scrolling in that pit level would be nice, but i think you may be able to make it medium auto scroll! xD

Heck, i even broke my own level in the video xD
shortcuts are shortcuts for all the right reasons :P

and the 2 springboard parts are ment to be a puzzle... it lures you to think you need to use them to get under the goal, when you go over :D.

Are you getting a error trying to watch the video?

When I was testing it with slow auto scroll this happen to me...

Also, is there any way to increase and decrease speed during the auto scroll so it can go pass some of the boring parts more quickly?
im not sure, but use medium auto scroll, slow is too slow, do it from the beginning, make the changes i said, and just put a rope with a turn block blocking the exit for the koopa or something, then it would be pit. right now it just seems like a slightly difficult kaizo hack.
