sound sync issues with ZSNES

I usually use SNES9x but it wasn't working with hacks, as in the roms froze after a bit and the sound went off, which all SNES emulators did on my old computer. But when I use ZSNES, it still has that weird muffling that happens to the spin dash and other sounds. How do I make it so the sound syncs on ZSNES?
The ROM is probably corrupted. Use a clean rom when patching. Or are you opening the IPS patch. ''

Check if the ROM you are using to patch the IPS patch, is clean here.

Also, if its keeps on happening, the game you are currently playing, is bad. Something is causing it to crash, in game, not your computer.
It has nothing to do with bad ROMs or IPS patches. ZSNES's sound core is really outdated, and contains some nasty bugs that Snes9x doesn't. There's nothing you can do about it, except try a better emulator.
How could this happen on ZSNES, the most accurate emulator available?!

What the fuck. You obviously know nothing about what accuracy means.
bsnes is the accurate one. zsnes allows lots of stuff that doesn't work on the real thing.
(Assuming you don't have a really dumb definition of "available" that involves bsnes being undownloadable or something dumb like that)
<blm> zsnes users are the flatearthers of emulation
actually the most accurate emulator available is dumping your rom onto a cartridge and playing it on your SNES, or doing something similar with a custom cart that loads roms. And if you want to bring your SNES roms with you, use this.

This is a thing that's happening, now. Achievements in old video games.
Thank you for the layout, Erik557.
Man, I wish this would've worked. Oh well.
If not for respect, but dramatic effect, take on the face of Guy Fawkes.

Well the list is public, here: https://zsnes.bountysource.com/development/bug_report

The first problem with the list is that it ignores all of the fixes post-151 that Jonas Quinn has added (probably at least 20 fixes.) Of course with no release you may consider that fair game. The second is that it's far from complete, not listing bugs like Der Langrisser (first reported twelve years ago), Speedy Gonzales, Mecarobot Golf, F-1 Grand Prix, etc. The third problem is that it hides the 15+ game hacks in ZSNES and 50+ game hacks in Snes9X. Again, that may be fair game as most don't care how the game works, just that it does.

And of course, Snes9X doesn't keep a bug list around.

I may of phrased that wrong. I believe I meant most accurate sound wise. Also, even tho bsnes my still be most accurate, how about that ZSNES is the most accurate sound wise without worrying about sound desynch issues?

Also, yay I made a discussion in a thread that isnt mine. </offtopic>

"Sound-wise"? bsnes is still most accurate, and if not, at least it didn't have SPC700 emulations troubles that led to nearly every single hack with custom music not being able to work on a real SNES.

At the very least, watch this video.
