What are you playing?

I guess you could say I'm playing Pokémon HeartGold right now because I haven't finished it yet, but I haven't really played it in a while.

But I have been playing Mario Golf (N64) quite a bit lately. Most frustrating game ever! :P
Finally I installed today The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again, now I'm playing it on the highest resolution, highest video quality, no lagging (new computer wins). I don't know how popular is this game in this community, but it's an amazing and great game for sure. Huge, free-to-explore world, exciting story and quests, tons of NPCs and monsters. This could sound a bit generic, but it's overall pretty awesome and unique. If you like the huge RPGs with interesting quests and well developed world...I recommend you to try it.
Im grounded so I dont have my wii so Im bashing the DS.

Game: Mario and Luigi: Partners in time
Platform: DS

The first and only M+L game Ive played and I love it. Challenging and funny. The story is great and deep and the bosses and the music are my faveourite things about this game. If your playing M+L BIS, Stop and play this. Its definatly worth the time.

I love PiT, that was the first DS game that I got. I've played through that game so many times over and I still like it to this very day. As for myself:

Game: Seiken Densetsu 3
Platform: SNES (emulated)

Man is this game awesome. I heard about this sometime ago, yet never bothered to look it up. Now that I've gotten into emulation, I could finally play it. The game is incredible, and much better than the original Secret of Mana. I'm really glad that they revamped the system to allow for a higher amount of carryable items, as well as how the TECs are executed. The interface in SD3 is much more richer and much more interesting than its predecessor as it uses the full capabilities of the ring system, as well as a character's magic capabilities. The game also brings forth a richer graphics style as well as a greater challenge in terms of gameplay. A great game thus far, and I've been enjoying every minute of it.

Tails is the best!
Pokemon SS and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin have really been the two games I've been finishing up recently. I doubt I'll have much time over the next few weeks to actually play them much more, but eh.

Dragon's Curse. It's the turbografx version of the master system Wonder Boy III (Dragon's Trap, not Monster Lair). It's a very good metroidvani-ish sort of game, although some of the level design is rather bland (similar to modern castlevania design in that there's a lot of long hallways filled with enemies), but it's a very good game overall, and I here that the master system version is just as good, but the graphics in the turbografx version are a bit better, and everything else is the same, so and it's easy to emulate, so just give it a shot.

Guitar Hero 5

ARGHH! I was playing Suicide & Redemption K.H (probably makes no difference which version it is) and got 100% on Expert Bass but I FUCKING OVERSTRUMMED at an alt-strum part because some bright spark decided to put a fucking hammer-on in that alt-strum pattern there! I had a 2,094 note streak.
Still, I enjoy playing this game. I play both GH & RB. I certainly can't wait for GH: Warriors of Rock! #w{=D}
At the moment:
Pikmin
Touhou 7
Touhou 12.3
Pokemon HeartGold
Animal Crossing City Folk
Super Marisa World
I'm playing Dragon Quest IX.
It's addicting as hell D:::
I got the game Okami a while back, but my sister's been playing Ocarina of time on the wii latley, so I hevent been getting much done on that #w{x(} Oh, I'm also playing a ROM of zelda oracle of ages on a GB emulator. It's the best Zelda game evah! #w{=P}
Game: Legend of Mana
Platform: PS1 (Emulated)

The game is fun I guess. I like the idea of the side quests but I don't think that the over world development was done well. Not to mention about 50% of the places you can go just look like background so you have to check EVERYTHING. But it's nice as far as Action RPGs go.
Well its not an official game, so I dunno whether it counts. I didn't see any rule against it ,_ ,

At this current moment I'm playing Vip5 final castle. Just for the record the final castle is hard as hell. Even with savestates, and rewinds.

I'm playing Final Fantasy II/IVj right now (even my layout is FF4 styled now), it's an awesome game, and I'm pretty sure, that I'll play the other parts of the series (at least the SNES episodes). I'm in the Sealed Cave already, with level 30+ characters, and I'm pretty excited about the later happenings of the story.
I have become addicted to Pokémon Pinball, a game that I wasted quite a bit of my childhood on.

I played it for hours until I finally lost. This is my current high score.

Caught about 15 Pokémon on that run, including Mewtwo. In total, I have about 20 Pokémon caught on it.

Only 131 to go!
Playing Final Fantasy V right now. Thanks god I could get an English patched ROM pretty fast, since I like to understand, what I'm doing, obviously. The game is quite great so far; the story sounds a bit cliché, for now, so I hope (and think) it will be a bit better later (I don't know anything about it, I know the final boss' name, and that's it).

No, the story is pretty retarded all the way through, but the gameplay is what makes the game good, the job system makes it much more fun than the others.

I'm still playing Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for ds. It's hard, but not as unforgiving as the older titles, and the fusion system is the best in the whole series, it has the perfect balance of customizability and simplicity. Story seems pretty cool. For those of you who don't know, it's really SMT 4, but they didn't call it they didn't want people to think that they had to play the first 3 (the first 2 didn't even make it to the west). It's the series that pokemon stole it's gimmick from, and the third most popular jrpg series in Japan. Story is interesting, more pre-apocolyptic than post-apocolyptic like most of the other SMT games, but it manages to be just as strange and creepy.

Max and the Magic Marker for WiiWare

This is a puzzle-platformer where you guide a young kid named Max through the world with the help of a magic marker. You use the marker to draw platforms to help you cross gaps, reach new heights, or defeat enemies. Reminds me A Boy and His Blob for Wii: simplistic storyline, cutesy graphics, puzzling gameplay, and a young boy protagonist.
^ Huh. That seems unique.

I'm playing Mega Man X6. Yes, the one and only. It's actually turned out to be not nearly as bad as I'd expected it to be, but the fact that I used a GameFAQs guide probably had a lot to do with that. (Well, hey, it's not like X6 is the only one I used a guide for...without them, I'd hardly get anywhere in those games.) This gives me yet another reason to laugh scornfully at ASMT...I'm playing a game well-known for being difficult, cheap, unfair, and annoying, and it still managed to be less difficult, cheap, unfair, and annoying than that hack. And as I said, it's certainly less mean than I had expected, although that's not to say it isn't difficult and annoying. Also, some of the other things contained in the game, such as the Nightmare system, make things more interesting. I really think Mega Man X6 could have been an awesome game if it had been executed a little better, tested better, designed to be more user-friendly, etc...kind of like ASMT.

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
