Here is my 1st hack, I replaced Mario by Alex Kidd (the mascot of Master System) as well as everything the enemies by those of Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Bros 3 (8-bit) the series of Sonic, Of Kirby adventure and Duck Tales, do not wait for you in magnificent graphics, I base myself on Retro 8-bit and for the levels, I want that the player enjoys himself and sets pleasure to make them.
I show 3 video so that you are made an idea on the hack by hoping that that pleases.
Demo comming soon.

This is pimpin!
Looks nice. I like your use of music and graphics, although one complaint I have is that you use multiple ledges instead of corner tiles. Level design is nice too, but the second level seems to be the same as the first (with different graphics).

Seems a bit too...8 bit. Could use some tidying up.

<.<
You need to fix his head when he ducks, it looks like the top of it disappears.
wow, really good GFX dude. i really want to play this mostly because of them.
Thank you for your comments, that pleased me!

Look at the second video, this problem in resolute summer.
Looks nice but it isnt our standerds to make a video thread.
Instead,a hack thread should be organized in a fashion simaler to this:

Story(Very important):

Features:

Screen shots(Mandatory):

Videos:

Etc:

Dont just post a thread with youtube videos.
Look at other hack threads to see what is our standard of hack threads.
And if its a thread with just a video then that thread is in proper.

Level design looks decent, but its a bad mix of graphics. Sonic, and yoshi's island graphics clash with almost everything, and i hate the mix of 8 and 16 bit. Make up your mind.
Edit: By the way, using a pipe lakitu as a monkey is a pretty good idea. It would be an easy way to make one of the yi monkeys that throws catcus jacks or bombs.

I have no ideas for the history(story), that will come as one goes along.

The rest will come, I am not all the time on my computer.

This is not the second level, but an updated version of his first level (with crouching sprites fixed notably). He should have noticed it himself, but his English is very bad.
The second level is featured in the third video actually.

I don't see anything wrong with mixing 8-bit and 16-bit graphics along with multiple universes if done correctly. It might not be the case here but don't forget the hack is still at an early stage. He might modify things later if he finds out some ideas don't work out. To me, his hack looks quite pleasant for the moment.

For people wondering who I am: I'm assisting BOBO during the making of his hack (I know him personally). I'm also the maintainer of the Sonic Art Archive website. There might be a thread for presentations, my apologies if I missed it but I barely have enough time to spend for being able to deeply watch (and on post on) each forum I happen to go to.
oooh ok. Sorry. Just post screens next time please?..
Here is screen shots, at the moment I just changed the enemies, the Backgrounds and the levels are not made yet.

Nice idea using Kabu as the skull raft.
*rips off idea*

The screens look good.Nothing I notice wrong.

My "Hill Top Zone" level (music includes) with other enemies from Kirby séries, Bronto Burt (Super-Koopa) and little Wheelie (Monty Mole)
those screens are pretty awesome, and your sprite gfx replacements are creative and kool
