Tutorial Requests

I'm not blaming him, I'm just saying that's it's not very complicated, and not enough to make a tutorial about it.

Although, looking back at my post, it does look like I was blaming him. :/
someone should do a tutorial of sample tool. and i mean the newest version of it.
This may sound a bit daunting, but I would like to request an ASM video tutorial. It would be very helpful for audio/visual learners, like me. (Plus I find that most text tutorials are a bit dry, no offense to anyone)
I was hoping someone might make a tutorial on how to edit SMW's sound effects. Romi's included manual isn't very clear.

Thanks in advance.
YY-CHR help thread definately
yr layooot haz bin rmovd
I need someone to show me how to use Translhexlation (or however you spell it.) Someone tried helping me, but whenever I copy the adress from the ROM Map, I come up with an adress that is close, but like 1 character off from the adress I copy/pasted.

Edit: Nevermind! Hex editing really is easy!

Example:
3F77D $07:F57D 1 byte Sprite Misc. [00] Change to 01 to fix the glitched tiles that appear when a reflecting fireball goes into lava. (It will display the normal lava splash.)

Open your ROM, press CTRL + G. Type x3F77D. Notice the x in front, and the PC address that was used. You will jump straight to the byte to be changed, where you may type '01', and then save. The address on the left side simply shows the address of first byte in that row.

A tutorial I would LOVE to see, is an "ExAnimation Trigger Tut", teaching us how to use all the triggers, because most... I don't even understand!
I'd like to further the request of S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. to a full blowen how to use Exanimated frames properly (triggers, slots, color patterns, everything) for lunar magic 1.71 as seen in this picture here -> http://i45.tinypic.com/jicm77.jpg
Does This Show you Tutorials on how to reply posts on this website too?
Um...what?

What sort of request are you making? You obviously know how to reply to posts on the site, so that can't be it....

Are you asking if you can reply to tutorials, even ones that haven't been replied to in a few months? If so, then yes, you can. If not, then can you rephrase your question?
What I mean is How to make links or images
Sorry if this post doesn't belong here, I just thought I would answer his question.

To link something, first get the URL you want to link, then go to make a post that you want a link in. You see the A ? Hit that button, then paste the URL in the in the window that pops up. Next type in the content you want for the link, then hit the A button again.

Example, this is a test link.

To post a picture, get the URL of the picture you want, then go to make a post you want the picture in. Hit the button, paste the URL.

Example

Simple as that.
I still don't get it so if anyone can show me on youtube please tell me and i will look for the video
or give me a link plaease

A Youtube video shouldn't be necessary, you just need to know the basic layout of how to type it.

Links:
text you want linked

Images:

Not that for images, you first need to upload the image to either your files (in the SMWC menu) or an image-hosting site (Photobucket, Imageshack, etc.).
A tutorial on how to make a layout. Y'know, a post layout.
Still here, I guess. Despite all odds.

Try This.

Bowser's Attack On Yoshi's Island Is Canceled...
I'll be away from the 24th of July for a about a week.

Can somebody give us a VIDEO tutorial about ripping Layer 3 from other games to Super Mario World? I read the readme in Racing Stripe's file, and it just isn't clear enough. I wanted it for my hack.
What I would really like is a Extremely detailed step-by-step tutorial that explains ASM in an easy-to-understand way that is n00b-friendly...

Because honestly... The tutorials on this site just make me confuzzled. I don't even know what program to use for ASM because the tutorial didn't tell me! It's frustating! #w{O.O}

I would also like if WhiteYoshiEgg maybe made it, because he started out like me with non-ASM hacks, and worked his way up to REALLY AWESOME ASM. So I think he'd know what it's like in my shoes. Ya know what I mean?

I'd be fine if anyone made it, but It would be extra cool if WhiteYoshiEgg made it.#w{=)}
Why don't I say that one number? I don't have time for him!

You know, it's going to be really hard to make a Extremely detailed ASM tutorial. The people who have already have a ASM tutorial tried really hard on it and though it's not perfect, they at least tried and it's good. And I doubt WYE will make one since there's enough good ones out there. Also, you probably don't even know a majority of the tools used in SMW hacking so that's probably why you don't know what to use. Finally, I'd say you read Iceguy's ASM tutorial as IMO is well explained and detailed and it is easy to understand.
